ゾン・バオシェン氏は「PV3.0は、われわれがソーラー革命の第3段階に到達していることを意味している。2017年には、全世界に設置された太陽光発電容量が300GWに達し、太陽光発電の契約価格は0.03/kWh未満にまで低下したが、太陽光発電容量が1TWに達するまでには5年を要しない。これは中国の石炭発電能力にほぼ等しい。PV3.0時代には、太陽光発電などのグリーンエネルギー源が人類の主要エネルギー源となるだろう」と述べた。

additions. In August 2017 China's government announced to add 86.5GW of new

utility-scale PV by 2020 in an effort to accelerate solar growth in the country
