【ペタティクヴァ（イスラエル）2012年10月30日PRN＝共同JBN】モバイルフォレンジックソリューションの大手プロバイダーであるセレブライト（Cellebrite、http://www.cellebrite.com/mobile-forensics-products/forensics-products.html）は30日、iPhone 5、iOS 6、Android 4.1、BlackBerryの各デバイスの削除済み、現存、あるいは隠されたデータを抽出することができる最先端技術を発表した。この技術進歩によって、捜査機関は最新モデルのスマートフォンおよびプラットフォームから犯罪捜査の一環として、より多くの捜査データを採取することができるようになる。
あらゆる携帯機器に保存された見せかけのアリバイ、犯罪計画、さらには地理的な位置に関するデータをモバイル搭載のメモリーから復元し、法廷で証拠として使用することができる。今回のアップデートによって、セレブライトは3大スマートフォン・オペレーティング・システム（OS）の完全抽出サポートを提供するモバイル・フォレンジック業界で唯一のベンダーとなった。
セレブライトによりこの度強化された抽出機能は以下の通り。
＊BlackBerry Messengerの削除メッセージおよびグループチャットの解析
＊Appleが2012年9月に導入したソフトウエアiOS 6データの完全なフィジカル抽出

セレブライトのロン・サーバー共同最高経営責任者（Co-CEO）は「今回の技術によってモバイル・フォレンジックを担当する当社の顧客は、最新で最も一般的で、かつ幅広く使用されているモバイル機器から最も完全なデータ抽出が可能となる。この技術を使用することで、捜査官はあらゆる種類の犯罪を捜査する際により柔軟に対応でき、その結果、法的手続きが大幅に効率的になる」と語った。
セレブライトの技術は英国をはじめ世界中の多数の警察および国防関係省で使用されている。米国ウィスコンシン州マディソン警察のシンディー・マーフィー捜査官は「多数のiPhoneが販売され、4.1OSを搭載したAndroid機器が出荷されたことで、捜査官がこうした機器に遭遇する可能性が高まっている。豊富な種類のデータを蓄積するこれら次世代スマートフォンが普及することによって、モバイル・フォレンジック・ツールは、われわれの捜査の中で価値があるすべての証拠を復元できるようにならなければならない」と述べた。

advanced technology which can successfully extract deleted and existing or
hidden data from iPhone 5, iOS 6, Android 4.1, and BlackBerry devices. This
technological advance means that police forces can obtain even more forensic
data, as part of criminal investigations from the newest model smartphones and
platforms.
A forced alibi, the plotting of crimes and even GEO-location data stored on
any phone can now be retrieved from the mobile's memory and used as evidence in
