＊世界経済が回復に伴う交易会への参加者増を期待

中国最大の貿易展示会である第122回広州交易会（China Import and Export Fair、Canton Fair））が10月15日開幕した。総面積118万5000平方メートル（1280万平方フィート）の会場に世界34カ国・地域から16万点の製品が展示され6万466人の展示業者がそろった。

広州交易会広報担当のシュ・ビン氏は第122回広州交易会開幕の記者会見で、今年のグローバル経済は上向いており、大不況（Great Recession）以来の主要経済のデフレ状態が沈静化してきていると指摘した。

指標は、世界経済の堅調な回復基調と、商品および消費両方のソースとして中国市場の継続した活力と増大する重要性を反映している。交易会に参加した341の展示業者は、中国の提唱する「一帯一路」構想（B&R）に参加している国からであり、国際パビリオンの展示業者の55%を占める。

第122回広州交易会のスケジュールは以下の通り。

▽第1期：10月15日－19日

主な展示品：電子・電気製品、家電機器、照明器具、車両・車両部品、機械、建材、化学品、エネルギー源

▽第2期：10月23日－27日

主な展示品：消費財、ギフト、住居装飾品

▽第3期：10月31日－11月4日

主な展示品：織物および衣類、靴、事務用品、ケース・バッグ類、レクリエーション用品、医療機器・健康製品、食品

広州交易会広報担当のシュ・ビン氏は、今年グローバル経済は上向き基調で、大不況以来の主要経済のデフレ状態は落ち着き、ほとんどのケースで反転し堅調な成長を示すようになっていると語った。結果として、世界貿易が引き続き回復するので、第122回広州交易会はバイヤーの増加を見込む。

シュ氏はさらに「広州交易会は、オープンな世界経済発展を促進する一貫した力である。バイヤーに新製品や新しい展示業者を紹介し、またB&Rに参加している国々の成長推進する展示業者を紹介することによって、われわれは引き続き世界貿易の持続可能な発展への貢献を強化する」と述べた。

The 122nd Canton Fair Kicks Off in China

Number of Attendance Expected to Increase as Global Markets Recover

The 122nd Canton Fair ("the Fair"), the largest trade fair in China, kicked off

on Oct.15, with 60,466 exhibitors covering an area of 1,185,000 square meters

(12.8 million square feet), displaying 160,000 products from 34 countries and

regions.

Xu Bing, spokesman of Canton Fair, noted that the global economy has been on an

upward trajectory this year and the deflation of major economies since the

Great Recession has stabilized at opening press conference of the 122nd Canton

Fair.

The figure reflects the continued steady recovery of the global economy, and

the continued vitality and growing importance of the Chinese market as both a

source for goods and consumption. 341 exhibitors at the Fair are from countries

that are participating in China's "Belt and Road" Initiative (B&R), and will

account for 55 percent of exhibitors in the International Pavilion.

The schedule for this year's Canton Fair is as follows:

Phase 1

Oct.15-19

Focus:Electronics & household electrical appliances, lighting equipment,

vehicles & spare parts, machinery, building materials, chemical products,

energy resources

Phase 2

Oct.23-27

Focus:Consumer goods, gifts, and home furnishings

Phase 3

Oct.31-Nov.4

Focus:Textiles & garments, shoes, office supplies, cases & bags, recreation

products, medical devices & health products, food

Xu Bing, spokesman of Canton Fair, said the global economy has been on an

upward trajectory this year and deflation of major economies since the Great

Recession has stabilized and, in almost all cases, reversed to sustained,

steady growth. As a result, the 122nd Canton Fair will see an increase in the

amount of buyers attending as global trade continues to recover.

groups to buyers, as well as showcasing exhibitors driving growth within

countries that are participating in the B&R, we will continuously enhance our
