【ワシントン2017年5月26日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Venture Global LNG, Inc.（http://www.venturegloballng.com ）は6回目の資金調達ラウンドで新たに約8140万ドルの資本を調達したと発表する。今回は有名な大手機関投資家が参加したことが注目される。このレギュレーションDに基づく私募証券発行により、同社が調達した資金は合計3億6100万ドルになる。

Venture Global LNGのボブ・ペンダー氏、マイク・サベル氏の両共同最高経営責任者（CEO）であるマイク・セーベル氏とボブ・ペンダー氏は資本調達について「わが社が液化天然ガス（LNG）3000万トン生産態勢を達成する能力を金融市場が信頼し続けていることを、この私募発行が明らかにした。われわれは2021年までにカルカシュー水路（Calcasieu Pass）で操業を開始し、北米から国際市場へ最も安いLNGを出荷する見通しだ」と述べた。

今回のレギュレーションD手続きによって調達した資金は、Venture Globalがルイジアナ州でLNG輸出施設を開発する費用に充てられる。

資金調達ではモルガン・スタンレーとゴールドマン・サックスが共同募集代理人を務めた。

Venture Global LNG Announces Successful Close to Private Funding Round: Aggregate Funding Total Reaches $361 Million

WASHINGTON, May 26, 2017 /PRNewswire=KYODO JBN/ --

Venture Global LNG, Inc. (http://www.venturegloballng.com) announces that it

has raised additional capital of approximately $81.4 million, in its sixth

round of equity investment. The offering was notable for the inclusion of

additional high profile, very large institutional investors in the company. The

offering, a private Reg. D transaction, brings the company's aggregate funding

total to $361 million.

In response to the capital raise, Co-CEOs, Mike Sabel and Bob Pender stated,

"This private placement represents the capital markets continued confidence in

our ability to execute on our development of 30 million tons of LNG production.

By 2021 we expect to launch commercial operations for Calcasieu Pass and

deliver the lowest cost LNG from North America to the global market."

The proceeds of this most recent Reg. D transaction will fund Venture Global's

development activities for its proposed LNG export facilities in Louisiana.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC acted as co-placement

agents in connection with the offering.
