ブラッドリー・バーケンフェルド氏はスイスのジュネーブにあるUBSプライベートバンキング部門で米富裕層を扱うディレクターを務め、悪名高い当時の秘密匿名口座で顧客資産を管理していた。バーケンフェルド氏はUBS内で目に余る何十億ドルもの多額脱税の慣行を改革しようとして何度か失敗した後の2007年、歳入庁（IRS）、司法省（DOJ）、証券取引委員会（SEC）、上院など米国の各機関に内部告発したが、その反応はまちまちだった。バーケンフェルド氏は長期の法廷闘争を経た末、DOJから投獄（30カ月間）された唯一のUBSバンカーになった。バーケンフェルド氏は釈放の数週間後、IRSから史上最高額とされる1億400万ドルの報奨金を与えられた。

     After a successful release in the United States, UBS Whistleblower Bradley

Birkenfeld's memoirs "LUCIFER'S BANKER" (http://www.lucifersbanker.com) is

being highly sought after by book publishers around the world. Germany's

FinanzBuch Verlag will release the German version "DES TEUFEL'S BANKER" on

April 10, 2017 in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. "We are very
