【2017年1月10日、東京】 米ステート・ストリート・コーポレーション（本社：ボストン）の資産運用部門であるステート・ストリート・グローバル・アドバイザーズ（以下、SSGA）は10日、Eファンド・マネジメント社（本社：中国・広州）と、急成長する中国をはじめとした世界市場の資産運用業界において、戦略的機会を共同探求するための覚書に調印したと発表しました。

Eファンド・マネジメント社は管理資産1兆人民元超*の5200万の投資家にサービスを提供する強力なリテールネットワークを保有する中国第3位のアセットマネジャーです。SSGAは運用資産額2兆4千億ドル*を超える世界第3位のアセットマネジャーですが、この戦略的提携により、両社の強みと専門的知識を相互に活用することになります。

Alliance between two of the largest firms in China and the US to explore China

and global product development and market access

E Fund Management and State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the asset management

arm of State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), announced today the signing of a

memorandum of understanding to jointly explore strategic opportunities across

global markets, including China's fast-growing fund management industry.

The strategic parternship will draw on the respective strengths and expertise

of SSGA, the third largest asset manager globally with over US$2.4 trillion* in

assets under management, and E Fund Management, the third-largest asset manager

in China with more than RMB 1 trillion* under management and a strong retail

distribution network covering 52 million investors.

The partnership will facilitate an exchange of information in product

development and innovation that could help enhance both firms' ability to gain

and strengthen access to both local and global investment markets.
