化学的中間体、特殊樹脂および各種ソリューションの世界的な大手デベロッパー兼メーカーのSI Group（http://www.siigroup.com/ ）は15日、TPC Groupのテキサス州米タウンにある製造施設を買収する合意を発表した。この合意には、ノネン、テトラマーをはじめとするプロピレン派生物のための現場ターミナルおよび製造資産が含まれる。ノネンとテトラマーはプロピレン・オリゴマーで、可塑剤、潜在、潤滑油添加物、抗酸化物質をはじめとするパフォーマンスプロダツの中間体として使用される。

announced today an agreement to acquire TPC Group's Baytown, Texas

manufacturing facility. The agreement includes an on-site terminal and

manufacturing assets for nonene, tetramer, and other propylene derivatives.

Nonene and tetramer are propylene oligomers, used as intermediates in the

production of plasticizers, detergents, lube oil additives, antioxidants, and

other performance products.
