成都ハイテク産業開発区とフランスのソフィア・アンティポリスがイノベーションで協力協定

【ニース（フランス）2016年7月5日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】中国の成都ハイテク産業開発区（Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone）とフランスの「シリコンバレー」、ソフィア・アンティポリス（Sophia Antipolis）は「姉妹テクノロジーパーク」形成する協力協定に調印した。

ソフィア・アンティポリスは欧州で最大のテクノロジーパークで、約1000のハイテク組織や研究関連企業が集まっている。成都ハイテク産業開発区は中国で最も有名なテクノロジーパークの1つで、「中国西部のシリコンバレー」としてよく知られている。

双方は、技術イノベーション、コマース、貿易、投資の各分野や、それぞれの国の協力の窓口としての機能面で交流と協力を行う。調印式はフランスのニースで開かれたSino-French Scientific and Technological Enterprise Future Leadership Forum（中仏科学技術企業未来リーダーシップ・フォーラム）（以下フォーラム）の場で行われた。フォーラムでは、成都ハイテク産業開発区にSophia Antipolis China Innovation Center（ソフィア・アンティポリス中国イノベーションセンター）を設立することも発表された。

フォーラムに出席し、参加者に向け演説した政府高官は、成都ハイテク産業開発区とソフィア・アンティポリスの両テクノロジーパークの協力を推進し、中国とフランスの若い起業家の交流を強化することは、新たな中仏協力メカニズムの探求と中仏関係の深化に役立つであろうと指摘した。

ソフィア・アンティポリスの創設者のピエール・ラフィット氏は「われわれと成都、中でもソフィア・アンティポリスと成都ハイテク産業開発区の間の協力関係は深化し続けている。今回の協定調印は、双方の全領域にわたる深い協力関係の始まりだ。われわれは、バイオメディシン（生物医学）、情報技術、新エネルギー、環境保護などの分野で国境を越えた産業集団を形成することを期待している」と述べた。

Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Sophia Antipolis, the French

"Silicon Valley", have signed a cooperation agreement to become "sister

technology parks."

Sophia Antipolis is the largest technology park in Europe and has amassed about

a thousand hi-tech organizations and research-oriented enterprises. Chengdu

Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone is one of China's most famous technology

parks and is renowned as the "Silicon Valley of Western China".

The two parties will undertake exchanges and collaborations in areas such as

technological innovation, commerce, trade and investment, and function as each

other's window for cooperation in their respective home countries. The signing

took place at the Sino-French Scientific and Technological Enterprise Future

Leadership Forum ("the Forum"), held in the French city of Nice. At the Forum,

it was also announced that the Sophia Antipolis China Innovation Center will be

established in the Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone.

A high-ranking government official who attended the Forum and addressed the

audience noted that advocating for the cooperation between the Chengdu Hi-tech

Industrial Development Zone and Sophia Antipolis technology parks, as well as

strengthening exchanges between young Chinese and French entrepreneurs, will be

conducive to explorations in new Sino-French collaboration mechanisms and the

deepening of relations between France and China.

Pierre Laffitte, the founder of Sophia Antipolis, said, "Cooperation between us

and Chengdu, especially between Sophia Antipolis and Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial

Development Zone, continues to deepen. The signing of this agreement is the

beginning of a full-spectrum of in-depth cooperation between the two sides. We
