世界大手タイヤメーカーのNexen Tireは5日、J.D. Powerが行ったOriginal Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study（新車装着タイヤ顧客満足度調査）で乗用車部門12ブランド中4位にランクされ、同社は昨年より大幅に顧客満足度が上昇したと発表した。

Nexen Tireは「今回の調査結果はNexen Tireの並外れた成長を紹介している。R&Dへの継続的投資を通じ、Nexten Tireは世界の顧客の満足度を上昇させ、タイヤメーカーとして世界トップのプレーヤーになるため、引き続き製品の品質改善を進める」と指摘した。

今回の満足度調査で主要な要素として取り上げられたのは「Tire Ride（タイヤの乗り心地）」「Tire Traction and Handling（タイヤトラクションとハンドリング）」「Tire Wear（タイヤの摩耗）」「Tire Appearance（タイヤの外見）」の4点。この項目はすべてのタイヤ満足度項目の中で顧客が最も重視している点であり、今年の調査でNexten Tireの顧客満足度が改善したことにつながっている。
