【ヒューストン（米テキサス州）2016年2月12日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Stewart & Stevenson LLCは12日、ジョン・メリフィールド氏（John Merrifield）を同社の世界的な販売ネットワークの社長に任命したと発表した。同社のFlorida Detroit Diesel Allisonの社長を務めてきたメリフィールド氏はミズーリ大学で修士号を取得し、長く販売事業で働いてきた。同氏はDaimler Trucks of North Americaの元上級副社長であり、Sterling Truck CorporationやWestern Star Truck Corporationの代表を務めた。メリフィールド氏は、引退するビル・シモンズ氏（Bill Simmons）の後任となる。

Stewart & Stevenson appoints Senior Distribution Executives

Stewart & Stevenson LLC announced today the appointment of John Merrifield as

President of the Company's global distribution network. Mr. Merrifield, who has

served as President of the Company's Florida Detroit Diesel Allison, holds a

Master's Degree from the University of Missouri and has a long record of

service in the distribution business. He was Senior Vice President at Daimler

Trucks of North America and served as head of Sterling Truck Corporation and

Western Star Truck Corporation. Mr. Merrifield succeeds Mr. Bill Simmons who is

retiring.
