Venture Global LNG、Shellと20年LNG売買契約を結ぶ

【ワシントン2016年2月8日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Venture Global LNG, Inc.（http://venturegloballng.com/ ）は8日、子会社のVenture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLCがShell NA LNG LLCと液化天然ガス（LNG）売買契約（SPA）を結んだと発表した。契約によると、ルイジアナ州キャメロンで建設中のVenture Global Calcasieu PassのLNG輸出施設から、Shellは年間100万トンのLNGを購入することに合意した。

契約期間はVenture Global Calcasieu Passの施設が稼働を始める日から20年間で、Shellはこの期間を延長できる。契約によると、LNG価格はヘンリーハブの月間価格に連動した本船渡し（FOB）ベースで、物価にスライドする。

Venture Global LNGの共同最高経営責任者（CEO）のマイク・セーベル氏とボブ・ペンダー氏は「Venture Global LNGはShellの20年売買契約を当社にとっての重要な前進と考える。世界で最もコストの低いLNG生産会社になるという当社の戦略を実行し、計画した課程を達成し続けることは喜びである」と共同で発表した。

Venture Global LNGはメキシコ湾カルカシュー水路口の約1000エーカーの敷地に年間1000万トン規模のVenture Global Calcasieu Pass施設と、ルイジアナ州ニューオリンズの約30マイル南のプラークミンズ郡、ミシシッピ川沿い（河口から55マイルの地点）の約630エーカーの敷地に年間2000万トン規模のVenture Global Plaquemines LNG施設を建設している。

Venture Global Calcasieu Pass and Shell LNG North America Execute Twenty Year LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement

Venture Global LNG, Inc. (http://venturegloballng.com/ ) ("Venture Global LNG")

is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLC

("Venture Global Calcasieu Pass"), has entered into a sales and purchase

agreement ("SPA") with Shell NA LNG LLC ("Shell"), under which Shell has agreed

to purchase one million tonnes per annum ("MTPA") of liquefied natural gas

("LNG") from Venture Global Calcasieu Pass's LNG export facility under

development in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

The SPA has a term of twenty years commencing on the commercial operation date

of the Venture Global Calcasieu Pass facility with a Shell option to extend the

term.  Under the SPA, Shell will purchase LNG on a free on board basis (FOB)

for a purchase price indexed to the monthly Henry Hub price plus a facility fee

indexed to inflation.  

Mike Sabel and Bob Pender, Co-CEOs of Venture Global LNG, jointly announced

Venture Global LNG is developing both the 10 MTPA Venture Global Calcasieu Pass

facility on an approximately 1,000-acre site located at the intersection of the

Calcasieu Ship Channel and the Gulf of Mexico, and the 20 MTPA Venture Global

Plaquemines LNG facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana on an approximately

630-acre site at river mile marker 55 on the Mississippi River, which is

approximately 30 miles south of New Orleans, Louisiana.
