セルフバランスのAngelBoard発売でホバーボードが現実に

【グラーツ（オーストリア）2015年10月21日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】最近の広州交易会は、AngelBoardとChic Intelligent Technology Co.（CHIC）の独占共同ブランド・パートナーシップを目撃した。このセルフバランスのスクーターは「AngelBoard」と呼ばれる。その楽しさとテクノロジーは映画「バック・トゥー・ザ・フューチャー」のホバーボードをほうふつさせる。

この映画の主人公、マーティ・マクフライが2015年10月21日の「未来」に到着したのは偶然ではない。この日、ストリートを滑走することができるホバーボード、AngelBoardが発売されたからである。AngelBoard社はCHIC Intelligent Technologyの独占的なグローバル共同ブランドとして運用する。

ここ数カ月で多くのボードが出現し、だれがセルフバランス・ホバーボード・テクノロジーの原特許保有者かをめぐって論議を呼んでいる。CHICが大本の発明者で22件の特許を持ち、IO HAWKやその他ブランドのハードウエアの責任を負っている。2013年のKickstarterキャンペーンで販売されたHovertraxなど他のセルフバランス装置は、別のテクノロジーをベースにしている。

CHIC Intelligent Technology Co.がAngelBoardを製造。同社は浙江大学の学長を務めた潘云鶴氏が創設した。CHICはほぼ10年にわたりこのテクノロジーを開発してきた。

AngelBoardは全く新しいものである。スケートボードではなく、セグウェイでもない。世界を震撼させた個人輸送の革命である。「バック・トゥー・ザ・フューチャー」の架空のホバーボードと同様、AngelBoardはわずかな体重移動で駆動できる。ボードは体重120キロまでの人を乗せ、1回充電すれば時速12キロで最大20キロの距離を走行できる。ソーシャルメディアでは、ジャスティン・ビーバーやジェイミー・フォックスらのスターがこのテクノロジーに魅せられている様子がうかがえる。

AngelBoardのバティスタ・ジェラール・ルーベン氏は「AngelBoardで新たな運動を起こしたい」と話している。

The latest edition of the Canton Fair saw a new exclusive co-brand partnership

between AngelBoard and Chic Intelligent Technology Co.(CHIC). This

self-balancing scooter will be communicated as the AngelBoard. It will resemble

the Hoverboard from 'Back to the Future' when it comes to fun and technology.

It's no coincidence that Marty McFly arrives in the future on October 21, 2015.

Today we launch AngelBoard, the hoverboard that will have you gliding through

the streets. The company AngelBoard operates as an exclusive global co-brand of

CHIC Intelligent Technology.

In recent months many boards have surfaced creating controversy around who is

the original patent holder of the self-balancing hoverboard technology. CHIC

are the original inventors, with 22 patents and are responsible for the

hardware found in the IO HAWK and other brands.

Other self-balancing devices such as Hovertrax, promoted via the Kickstarter

Campaign 2013, are based on a different technology.

The Original

CHIC Intelligent Technology Co. builds the AngelBoard. The company was founded

by Pan Yunhe, the former president of the Zhejiang University of Science and

Technology. CHIC has been developing this technology for almost ten years.

What exactly is AngelBoard?

The AngelBoard is something entirely new. It's not a skateboard. It's not a

Segway. It's a revolution in personal transportation that is taking the world

by storm. Similar to the fictional Hoverboard on "Back to the Future", a slight

weight shift is enough to set the the AngelBoard in motion. The board can

transport people up to 120 kg with a speed of 12 km/h distances of up to 20km

on a single charge. Social media shows: even stars like Justin Bieber and Jamie

Foxx are fascinated by this technology.
