HIMSS Asia Pacificとタイ保健省がHIMSS AsiaPac16会議・展示会協力で覚書調印

【シンガポール2015年9月28日PRNewswire＝共同通信JBN】HIMSS Asia Pacificとタイ保健省は9月23日、バンコクのタイ保健省本部で覚書に調印した。覚書は、来年8月タイのバンコクで開催されるHIMSS AsiaPac16会議・展示会に備えて協力するためのものである。

タイは急速に発展しつつある医療技術市場である。同国は近年、成長する医療ツーリズムと富裕の増大が高度の健康管理への需要拡大につながり、多くのソリューションプロバイダーに欠かせない重点市場となった。

民間医療管理部門が技術取り込み競争をリードしているが、この覚書調印は、タイの公共医療管理部門も技術受け入れ開始の準備ができたことを示している。

HIMSSは、調印された覚書がタイと域内全体で医療技術の利益の認識をさらに広げ、最終的に、医療管理を改善しアクセスするITの取り込みと実現の拡大につながるとみている。

HIMSS Asia Pacific2016年会議・展示会は「Advancing Digital and Patient-Centered Care（デジタルと患者本位のケアの前進）」をテーマに開催される。このイベントが取り組む重要テーマは次の通り。

＊スマート病院の連係創出

＊患者へのより緊密な対応

＊ケアモデルの転換

これらのテーマで、具体的に公共部門、民間部門の向上に役立てるためのトピックがある。公共医療管理部門では、データ管理、公衆衛生、普遍的な医療管理制度、テレビや通信を利用した遠隔医療など現在の重要問題の解決に関して学ぶことができる。一方、民間部門では、silo-edテクノロジーの取り込み方と完全なペーパーレス環境への動きを調査することができる。

HIMSS Asia Pacific and the Ministry of Public Health Thailand signed MoU on HIMSS AsiaPac16 Conference and Exhibition Cooperation

   A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HIMSS Asia Pacific and the

Ministry of Public Health Thailand (MoPH) was signed at the MoPH Headquarters

in Bangkok on 23rd September.

   The MoU signed is for collaboration on the organization of the HIMSS

AsiaPac16 Conference and Exhibition which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand

next August.

   Thailand has a rapidly-developing healthcare technology market. In recent

years, the country has become a key focus market for numerous solution

providers as its thriving medical tourism and rising affluence has led to

greater demand on high quality healthcare.

   While the private healthcare sector leads the race for technology uptake,

the signing of this MoU is reflective of the Thai public healthcare sector's

readiness to start embracing technology.

   HIMSS believes that the MoU signed will further increase the awareness of

the benefits of healthcare technology in Thailand and across the region, and

eventually lead to greater uptake and implementation of IT to improve care and

the access to care.

   HIMSS Asia Pacific 2016 Conference and Exhibition will be convened under the

theme Advancing Digital and Patient-Centered Care. The key themes that the

event will be addressing include:

    -- Applying Better Data for Better Health

    -- Creating Smart Hospital Flows

    -- Moving Closer to your Patient

    -- Transforming Care Models

   Under these themes, there will be topics aimed specifically at helping the

public and private sectors to improve respectively. The public healthcare

sector will be able to learn about resolving current critical issues such as

data governance, population health, universal healthcare coverage and

telemedicine. On the other hand, the private sector will be able to examine how

to integrate silo-ed technologies and move towards truly paperless environments.
