Recently it was reported that Doraemon, the "gadget cat from the future" will

join Taobao, China's largest e-commerce platform, to work together on the

creation of a 22nd century Universal store, which will be opened in mid-July.

Doraemon, who is from the 22nd century, is a fond childhood memory for several

generations of people, many of whom have dreamt of one day owning a Doraemon

for themselves.

Taobao, a retail unit of Alibaba Group, is the world's largest online shopping

platform. Founded in 1999, Alibaba Group is the world's largest electronic

business company. The cooperation between Doraemon and Taobao will bring new

It is also reported that the two sides will work together to design and develop
