国際美容外科学会が2014年美容形成手術の統計を公表

＊2014年には2000万を超える美容目的の処置が全世界で実施された

国際美容外科学会（International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery、ISAPS）が8日公表した統計によると、2000万を超える美容上の外科的、非外科的処置が2014年に世界で実行された。ISAPSは美容形成外科の国際学会であり、95カ国2700人以上の有資格美容形成外科医が登録している。ボツリヌス毒素美容療法が引き続き男女双方で最も一般的な美容処置となっている。外科的処置に関しては、女性にとっては豊胸手術が、また男性の場合はまぶたの手術が最も盛んだった。

- Over 20 million cosmetic procedures were performed throughout the world in

2014

Over 20 million cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures were performed

worldwide in 2014, according to statistics released today by the International

Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the leading international society

for aesthetic plastic surgery with more than 2,700 board-certified aesthetic

plastic surgeon members in 95 countries. Botulinum Toxin remains the most

popular cosmetic procedure overall for both men and women. For surgical

procedures, breast augmentation is highest among women while eyelid surgery is

prevalent among men.

Women had more than 17 million cosmetic procedures; 86.3% of the total. The
