【ニューヨーク2015年6月15日PRN＝共同通信JBN】One-Blue, LLC（http://www.one-blue.com）は15日、名古屋市に本社を置くバッファロー株式会社がOne-Blueブルーレイディスク（Blu-ray Disc（TM））製品ライセンスプログラムにライセンシーとして参加したと発表した。バッファローはLicense Agreement for Manufacturer of Aftermarket BD Drive Bundled with BD-PC Software（ブルーレイディスクPCソフトウエアをバンドルしたアフターマーケット・ブルーレイディスク・ドライブのメーカー向けのライセンス協定）に調印した。この協定は、大手ライセンサーのブルーレイディスク（TM）規格に不可欠な重要特許を利用することを許諾する。

One-Blueの小松茂IPライセンシング担当ディレクターは「バッファローがOne-Blueライセンスプログラムに参加したことは重要であり、歓迎すべきことである」と語った。

One-Blueはブルーレイディスク（TM）製品にとって必須となる特許のライセンスプログラムを管理し、ライセンサーの合同ライセンス管理組織である。ハードウエアおよびソフトウエア製品向けの製品ライセンスは、ブルーレイディスク（TM）、DVD、CDの必須特許を対象とする。ディスク製品向けの製品ライセンスは、ブルーレイディスク（TM）の必須特許を対象とする。

BUFFALO INC. Joins the One-Blue Licensing Program for Blu-ray Disc(TM)

   One-Blue (http://www.one-blue.com), LLC, today announced that BUFFALO INC.

of Nagoya, Japan has joined the One-Blue Blu-ray Disc(TM) product licensing

program as a licensee. BUFFALO signed the License Agreement for Manufacturer of

Aftermarket BD Drive Bundled with BD-PC Software which grants BUFFALO access to

important patents essential to the Blu-ray Disc(TM) standard from leading

licensors.
