アズルメンディを欧州ナンバーワンのレストランに認定

【ニューヨーク2015年5月5日PRN=共同通信JBN】美食家に向け世界のレストラン・ランキング情報を提供する代表的なブログであるOpinionated About Dining （OAD、独断的な食通）は5日、4回目になる欧州のレストラン・トップ100を発表した。現代バスク料理のパイオニア、「アズルメンディ（Azurmendi ）」（スペイン・ララベツ）が前年から18ランク伸ばし、ことしのナンバーワンになった。

欧州大陸で最も洗練されたレストランとして以下がトップテン入りを果たした。「アズルメンディ」（スペイン）、「トロワグロTroisgros 」（フランス）、 「ラルページュ（L'Arpege ）」（フランス）、「いん・で・ウォルフ（In de Wulf ）」（ベルギー）、「キケダコスタ（ Restaurant Quique Dacosta）」（スペイン）、「アラン・デュカス・ル・ルイ・キャーンズ（ Alain Ducasse- Louis XV ）」（モナコ）、「ディベルソ（Diverxo ）」（スペイン）、「レ・カランドレ（Le Calandre ）」（イタリア）、「ノマ（Noma）」（デンマーク）、「エチャバリ（Etxebarri ）」（スペイン）

▽スティーブ・プロトニツキ氏について

プロトニッキ氏は常に料理を職業にしていたわけではなかったが、食事は氏の人生の重要な一部を構成してきた。ニューヨーク生まれの氏はギタリスト兼ソングライターとして成功し、1981年にProfile Recordsの共同設立者になった。2003年、同氏が立ち上げたディスカッション・フォーラムはその後、Opinionated About Diningブログに成長、彼自身もブログの初期に最も多作なブロガーの1人になった。2007年、プロトニッキ氏は読者および同好の士を対象にした本格的な調査を開発、2008年には北米および欧州のベストレストラン100を取り上げた56ページの小冊子を発行した。それ以来、プロトニッキ氏は調査プロセスを改良し、2011年米国のレストランを対象にしたOpinionated About U.S. Restaurantを発行、引き続き世界中のトップレストランのランキングを発行している。

Azurmendi Named Europe's Number One Restaurant

   Opinionated About Dining (OAD), the leading source of global restaurant

rankings for devout diners, unveils the fourth edition of its Top 100 European

Restaurants. Pioneer of modern Basque cuisine, Azurmendi (Larrabetzu, Spain),

climbed 18 ranks to the number one spot this year.

   The finest restaurants across the continent were selected including

Azurmendi (Spain), Troisgros (France), L'Arpege (France), In de Wulf (Belgium),
