第2回FIPCOMでは、各応募者は、2014年にニュースの見出しを飾った最新ニュースを対象としたニュース報道、スポーツ報道、単独ニュース、単独スポーツの指定4部門のうち1部門での出品を求められました。

総合優勝者と各カテゴリーの優勝者が、審査員長を務めたナショナル・ジオグラフィック・フランス編集長のジャン=ピエール・ヴリニョ氏、ポルカ・マガジン編集長ディミトリ・ベック氏、MENA地域のAFPチーフ・フォトエディターパトリック・バズ氏、マグナム・エージェンシー写真家イアン・ベリー氏、RFIディレクターセシル・メギー女史、I.M.A.エグジビション・ディレクターオレリー・クレメンテ＝ルイス女史、そしてフランス 24編集長ガッサン・バジーレ氏からなる専門家の審査員によって選ばれました。

審査員は、2015年3月17日（火）にパートナーであるMedias Mondeの敷地内にて審査を行いました。慎重な検討の後、審査員長のジャン=ピエール・ヴリニョ氏が受賞者を発表しました。

ニュース報道部門優勝者：マウリシオ・リマ氏　作品タイトル「FRAGMENTED, THE HUMAN COST OF WAR IN UKRAINE（ウクライナ戦争による犠牲者、分裂）」

単独ニュース部門優勝者：バラ・アルハラビ氏　作品タイトル「ALEP（アレップ）」

スポーツ報道部門優勝者：アライン・シュローダー氏　作品タイトル「KUSHTI（クシュティ）」

単独スポーツ部門優勝者：ギラッド カバラーチク氏　作品タイトル「TRIATHLON（トライアスロン）」

上記受賞者の作品は2015年9月10日よりアラブ世界研究所にて展示される予定です。

FCMAについて

FCMA（Fujairah Culture and Media Authority）の目的はフジャイラ首長国（アラブ首長国連邦）の文化、メディアを国際舞台で発展および促進させることです。FCMAは文化、メディア機関との関係の国内的、国際的な強化、イベント（エキシビション、会議、フェスティバル）の開催、海外における文化的なプロジェクト、プログラムに対する支援提供などいくつかの戦略を実行しています。この枠組みのなかでFCMAはFIPCOMコンペティションを通じてフォトジャーナリズムを促進することを決めました。

winners of the second edition of FIPCOM

    For this second edition of FIPCOM, each candidate had to submit their work

in one of the four categories on offer: news reporting, sports reporting,

single news, single sport, covering current events making news headlines in

2014.

    One overall winner as well as a winner for each category were selected by a

professional jury made up of Jean-Pierre Vrignaud, President of the jury and

Chief Editor of National Geographic France; Dimitri Beck, Chief Editor of Polka

Magazine; Patrick Baz, Chief Photo Editor for AFP in the MENA region; Ian

Berry, Photographer at the Magnum agency; Cecile Megie, Director of RFI;

Aurelie Clemente-Ruiz, Exhibition Director at I.M.A., and Ghassan Basile, chief

editor of France 24.

    The jury met on Tuesday, 17 March 2015 at the premises of the partner

France Medias Monde to deliberate. At the end of these deliberations, the

President of the jury, Jean-Pierre Vrignaud, announced the winners:

     MAURICIO LIMA - WINNER OF THE NEWS REPORTING CATEGORY - FRAGMENTED, THE

    BARAA AL-HALABI - WINNER OF THE SINGLE NEWS CATEGORY - ALEP

    ALAIN SCHROEDER - WINNER OF THE SPORTS REPORTING CATEGORY - KUSHTI

    GILAD KAVALERCHIK - WINNER OF THE SINGLE SPORT CATEGORY- TRIATHLON

    The work of these winners will be exhibited at the Institut du Monde Arabe

from 10 September 2015.

    The FCMA (Fujairah Culture and Media Authority) has the purpose of

developing and opening up culture and media in the State of Fujairah (United

Arab Emirates) on the international scene. The FCMA implements several

strategies, such as consolidating ties, nationally and internationally, between

cultural and media institutions, and organising events (exhibitions,

conferences and festivals). It is within this framework that the FCMA decided

to showcase photographic journalism through the FIPCOM competition.
