2015 年 3 月 18 日 - 規格制定および試験認証サービスのグローバル・リーダーである CSAグループは、本日、インドの防爆装置の大手製造メーカー、FCG Flameproof Control Gears Pvt Ltd へのC-US HAZLOC 認証の発行を通知しました。

これはCSAグループのアジアにおけるHAZLOC 認証としては中国のHoneywell社に続くものであり、HAZLOC 試験と認証サービスを通じてアジアのお客様の現場の安全性を確保するという、CSAグループ が掲げるコミットメントを具現化するものです。

Hazardous locations (Hazloc: 危険区域) とは、可燃性のガスや蒸気、噴霧の危険性がある、あるいは爆発性/可燃性の粉塵や粉塵層が存在する場所です。当該区域で使用される機器は、爆発性雰囲気を刺激するような着火スパークや発炎、アーク放電、表面温度上昇、音響エネルギー、光学的放射、電磁波の発生を防止する設計が要求されます。

また CSAグループは、潜在的な爆発性雰囲気での使用を意図した機器や保護装置を規定する、欧州指令 94/9/EC ＝防爆指令：ATEX (ATmospheres EXplosives)(1)  指令の認証に対応した試験サービスも提供しています。ATEX 指令認証取得製品は、各地域の基準に準拠する前提で、EU 域内での自由移動が可能です。

CSA Group Continues HAZLOC Testing and Certification Services to Ensure Product Safety, Reliability and Performance Across Asia

CSA Group, a leading standards development organization and a global provider

of testing and certification services today announced that it has granted a

C-US HAZLOC certification to FCG Flameproof Control Gears Pvt Ltd, a leading

manufacturer of explosion-protected equipment in India.

The is the 2nd HAZLOC certification CSA Group awarded to Asian Clients

following Honeywell's HAZLOC certification in China, which shows that CSA

Group's consistent commitment to help Asian clients ensure workplace safety

through its key HAZLOC Testing and Certification portfolio.

Hazardous locations (Hazloc) refer to places where flammable gas, vapour or

mist hazards may arise or where explosive dust atmospheres and combustible dust

layers are present. Equipment used in such areas must be designed to prevent

the generation of sparks, flames, electric arcs, high surface temperatures,

acoustic energy, optical radiation and electromagnetic waves that may ignite

explosive atmospheres.

CSA Group also provides testing service under the ATEX (ATmospheres

EXplosives)[1] Directive Certification, known as European Directive 94/9/EC to

regulate equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially

explosive atmospheres. With ATEX Directive Certification, merchandise would

appreciate the free movement throughout the European Union while complying with

local procedures.
