【ランカウイ（マレーシア）2015年3月18日ベルナマ＝共同通信JBN】Asia Aerospace City（AAC）は航空宇宙研究・技術の新分野でAMIC、Warwick Manufacturing Groupと提携し、人的資源開発でDenelと、建築、エンジニアリング、建設ソリューションの提供でDassault Systemesと協力する。

東南アジアの航空宇宙ハブであるAsia Aerospace City（AAC）は、完全なビジネス・エコシステムを航空宇宙業界に提供するための努力において多様な提携関係を通じて地域の「ハブ」としての地位をさらに強化した。

AACの実行、開発の重要機関であるMajlis Amanah Rakyat（MRA）はAerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre（AMIC）にエアバス・グループ、ロールス・ロイス、「ハイテクのためのマレーシア業界・政府グループ」（MIGHT）、CTRM、マレーシア・プトラ大学（UPM）とともにリードメンバーとして参加した。

これによってAACへの研究・技術サポートの領域でAMICとAACの協力とが可能になる。

AACはその売上げ創出組織のM-AeroTech Sdn Bhd（M-AeroTech）を通じてWarwick Manufacturing Group（WMG）とも提携し、ウォーリック大学で航空宇宙業界のサプライチェーンの技術の研究と応用の可能性を探る。

一方、AACのエンジニアリング・サービス・プロバイダーであるStrand Aerospace Malaysia（Strand）は南アフリカ最大の防衛装備メーカーであるDenel SOCとの協力合意の覚書に署名した。この2社は人的資源開発と有限要素解析に関する専門的メンターリングの領域における構想について作業する。

DenelとStrandはDenelからStrandへの設計、エンジニアリング作業パッケージの二次契約に関する追加的な契約の可能性も探る。

この協力はMIGHTと技術保管庁（TDA）が担当している南アフリカ、マレーシア両国企業間の防衛、ハイテクの間接的相殺構想の一環である。

またこれとは別にStrandは、3D設計ソフトウエア、3Dデジタル・モックアップ、製品寿命管理（PLM）の生産を専門とするフランスのソフトウエア会社であるDassault Systemesのアーキテクチャー、エンジニアリング、建設（AEC）業界ソリューションの経験をマレーシアで共同展開するために、同社との提携の規模を拡大した。

またAACはパイロット訓練の分野に集中して航空関連サービスを提供している地元企業であるSKYVAX Sdn Bhd（SKYVAX）を初のテナントとして確保することに成功した。SKYVAXはマレーシア・スバンのAACのパイロット訓練アカデミーのための10万平方フィートの専用センター建設にコミットしている。

以上の合意はランカウイ国際海洋航空展示会（Langkawi International Maritime and Air Defence Show、LIMA 2015）で署名され、交換された。

Asia Aerospace City Strengthens Its Position as Aerospace Hub in the Region

Asia Aerospace City partners with AMIC, Warwick Manufacturing Group in new

areas of aerospace research & technology; collaborates with Denel on human

capital development and Dassault Systemes to deliver architecture, engineering

and construction solution

Asia Aerospace City (AAC), the aerospace hub in Southeast Asia has further

strengthened its position as ‘the’ hub in the region through various

partnerships in its effort to offer a complete business eco-system for the

aerospace industry.

Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), the key agency in the implementation and

development of AAC has joined Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC) as a

lead member alongside AIRBUS Group, Rolls Royce, Malaysian Industry-Government

Group for High Technology (MIGHT), CTRM and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

This will enable collaboration between AMIC and AAC in the area of research &

technology support for AAC.

AAC, via its revenue generating arm, M-AeroTech Sdn Bhd (M-AeroTech) has also

partnered with Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick

to explore into research and application of technologies in the supply chain of

aerospace industry.

Meanwhile, Strand Aerospace Malaysia (Strand), the engineering service provider

of AAC has signed a memorandum of agreement to collaborate with Denel SOC, the

largest manufacturer of defence equipment in South Africa. The two companies

will be working on initiatives in the area of human capital development and

professional mentoring on Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Denel and Strand are also exploring additional engagements involving

sub-contracting of design and engineering work packages from Denel to Strand.

The collaboration is part of the number of defence and high-technology indirect

offset initiatives between South African and Malaysian companies, managed by

MIGHT and the Technology Depository Agency (TDA).

Separately, Strand has also has expanded the scope of its partnership with

Dassault Systemes, a French software company that specializes in the production

of 3D design software, 3D digital mock-up and product life-cycle management

(PLM) to jointly deploy Dassault Systemes’ Architecture, Engineering and

Construction (AEC) industry solution experience in Malaysia.

AAC also has successfully secured its first tenant, SKYVAX Sdn Bhd (SKYVAX), a

local company providing aviation related services focusing in the area of pilot

training. SKYVAX has committed to a 100,000sqft purpose-built centre to house

its pilot training academy at AAC in Subang, Malaysia.

The agreements were signed and exchanged at the Langkawi International Maritime

and Air Defence Show (LIMA 2015).
