特許専門の米法律事務所オブロンが東京事務所長にコシュミーダー氏を任命

ステファン・コシュミーダー氏は、オブロンの化学関係の特許出願・権利化グループのパートナーであり、有機金属化学、触媒、ポリオレフィン、ポリカーボネートプラスティック、高分子添加剤、石油回収・精製、マイクロエレクトロニクス製造プロセスの専門知識を有している。同氏はジョージワシントン大学ロースクールの法務博士号（J.D.）、ヒューストン大学の経営学修士号（M.B.A.）、テキサス大学オースティン校で博士号（Ph.D.）、理学士号（B.S.）を所有している。

Oblon Announces New Head of Tokyo Office

Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP,  is pleased to announce that Oblon

partner, Stefan Uwe Koschmieder, Ph.D., has been appointed as new head of the

firm's Tokyo office- effective immediately.

Dr. Koschmieder offers clients a valuable combination of legal, business and

scientific experience. His extensive knowledge of the Japanese market and his

focus on chemical and microelectronics industries will help to bolster Oblon's

presence and growth in IP markets across the region. Oblon's Tokyo-based

attorneys provide a full range of Intellectual Property services including

litigation, opinions and counseling, patent prosecution, and post-grant

proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Stefan Koschmieder, Ph. D., is a partner in the firm's Chemical Patent

Prosecution group with expertise in organometallic chemistry, catalysis,

polyolefin polymers, polycarbonate plastics, polymer additives, petroleum

recovery and refining, and microelectronics manufacturing processes. He holds a

J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, an M.B.A. from the

University of Houston, and his Ph.D and B.S. from the University of Texas at

Austin.
