【ブリスベーン（オーストラリア）2015年1月19日PRN＝共同通信JBN】ソフトウエアベース通信の大手プロバイダーであるMegaportは19日、同社がGoogle Cloud Platformへの相互接続サービスを提供するGoogle Cloud Platform Authorized Technology Partner（公認テクノロジー・パートナー）になったと発表した。Megaportのユーザーおよび会員はGCIに対応できるようになり、そのデータがどこにあろうが顧客がどこにいようが、Googleのネットワークエッジへのエンタープライズグレードの接続を通じてGoogle Cloud Platformに接続できるようになる。ユーザーはまた、バーチャル・プライベート・ネットワーク、あるいは「VPNトンネル」によってユーザーのプライベート・データセンターをGoogle Cloud Platformに接続できる。

directly to the Google Cloud Platform with a virtual private network, or "VPN
