【東京2015年1月7日PRN=共同通信JBN】ノースロップ・グラマン（Northrop Grumman Corporation、NYSE: NOC）はこのほど、ジャック・ドーセット（Jack Dorsett）氏を日本担当のチーフ・エグゼクティブに指名し同氏が直ちに就任したと発表した。ドーセット氏はこの新ポストで日本におけるノースロップ・グラマンの関係全般を調整し、現行計画遂行支援および成長戦略策定を担当する。

ドーセット氏はこれまでノースロップ・グラマン・インフォメーション・システムズのCommand and Control Systems担当副社長で、一連の事業目標達成を率いてきた。それらにはConsolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services programs（CANES）、Air Operation Center 10.2近代化、共同交戦能力、艦艇自衛システムが含まれている。

ドーセット氏は米海軍で指揮官やスタッフとして数々の主要ポストを経験した後、2011年にノースロップ・グラマンに入社した。彼は海軍作戦次長‐情報総括担当、海軍首席情報官、海軍情報部長を務め、米海軍のインテリジェンス、情報技術ネットワーク、サイバー、電子戦、無人計画などを監督した。

Northrop Grumman Appoints Jack Dorsett as Chief Executive for Japan

    Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has announced the appointment of

Jack Dorsett as chief executive for Japan, effective immediately. In this new

position, he will be responsible for coordinating the corporation's

relationship with Japan, supporting current programs and developing strategies

for growth.

    Dorsett was previously vice president, Command and Control Systems, within

Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector and led a portfolio of business

pursuits including the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services

program, the Air Operations Center 10.2 modernization and cooperative

engagement capability and the Ship Self-Defense System.

    Dorsett joined Northrop Grumman in 2011 following a distinguished career in

the U.S. Navy where he held numerous command and staff positions. He was deputy

chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance, Navy chief information

officer and director of Naval Intelligence, overseeing Navy's intelligence,

information technology networks, cyber, electronic warfare and unmanned

programs.

    While with the Navy, Dorsett was the resource sponsor for unmanned

programs, including Triton, Fire Scout and Unmanned Carrier-Launched

Surveillance and Strike aircraft, and command and control capabilities,

including the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. Previously, he was director for

Intelligence to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
