女子テニス協会（WTA）2015年シーズンは1月5日の週からアジア太平洋地域の3カ国で公式にスタートした。オーストラリアのブリスベーン・インターナショナル、中国の深セン・オープン、ニュージーランドのASBクラシック・オークランドで、「シンガポールへの道」が始まった。

2015年版WTA「シンガポールへの道」は33カ国の54イベントとグランドスラム4大大会を経て、BNPパリバWTAファイナル・シンガポール大会はSCグローバルの提供で2015年10月23日から11月1日までシンガポール・スポーツハブで開催される。

WTAファイナルは2年続けてシンガポールで開かれることになった。10日間の国際スポーツエンタテインメントの一部として開催された昨年のイベントが記録的な集客で大成功を収めたことがその理由のひとつである。シングルとダブルの日程が7日間から8日間に延長され、WTAレジェンドクラシック、WTAライジングスター・インビテーショナル、WTA将来のスターコンペティションが加わることになった。

     - WTA Finals Expands to Eight Days of Competition

    The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) 2015 season officially gets underway

the week of January 5 with three events in three different countries in

Asia-Pacific - Brisbane International in Australia, Shenzhen Open in China and

ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand - marking the beginning of the "Road to

Singapore".

    The 2015 edition of the WTA Road to Singapore will travel through 33

countries with 54 events and four Grand Slams, returning to the site of the

highly successful BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global,

staged at the Singapore Sports Hub October 23 - November 1, 2015.

    For the second consecutive year, the WTA Finals will be staged in Singapore

as the 10-day international sport entertainment spectacle builds on the record

competition will expand from seven to eight days, with the inclusion of the WTA

Legends Classic, WTA Rising Stars Invitational and WTA Future Stars competition.
