＊航空機管理力の強化で支えられる航空ファイナンス事業

アイルランドのダブリンにあるAviation Finance Company Limited（AFC）の親会社、Stellwagen Finance Companyは2日、スウェーデンの航空会社Volito Aviation Services A.B.（VAS）を子会社とともに買収したと発表した。買収は2段階で進められているが、その第1段階が終了した。今回の買収は、航空機サービス能力の強化によってAFCの航空ファイナンス・投資事業の発展を図る新しい一歩となる。

AFCのダグラス・ブレナン最高経営責任者（CEO）は「Volitoの取得は、航空機とエンジンの調達・再販売から、航空機の整備審査・獲得あるいは再保有に至る幅広い航空管理サービスを提供する能力の強化によって、AFCのファイナンス事業をうまく補完し、わが社の投資家サービスを向上させる」と述べた。

A.B.のシジ・クリステンソンCEOは「わがチームにはフレッシュで楽しみなスタートだ。この2年間AFCとはとてもうまくやってきたので、合併は両社にとって都合がいい」と評価した。

VolitoはVGSとその他さまざまな第3者のために航空機資産を管理しているが、資産は購入していない。Volitoは合併の第2段階が終わる2015年にGuardian Aviation Services Limitedと社名を変更する。

Aviation Finance Company Parent Stellwagen Buys a Stake in Volito Aviation Services

        - Aviation financing business is bolstered through enhanced

                   aircraft management capabilities

   Stellwagen Finance Company, the parent company of Aviation Finance Company

Limited (AFC) of Dublin, Ireland announced the purchase of Volito Aviation

Services A.B. (VAS) of Sweden together with its Irish subsidiary. The

acquisition will be completed in two stages and the first stage is now

completed. This acquisition represents another step in the evolution of AFC's

aviation finance and investment business by broadening its ability to offer

aircraft servicing capabilities.

   Douglas Brennan, Chief Executive Officer of AFC said, "The acquisition of

Volito nicely complements AFC's financing operations and strengthens our

ability to serve our investors by enhancing our ability to offer a wide range

of aircraft management services from sourcing and re-marketing aircraft and

engines to aircraft maintenance surveillance, collection or repossession

   Volito manages aircraft assets for VGS and various other third parties, but

none of these aircraft assets were purchased. The Volito name will be changed

to Guardian Aviation Services Limited during 2015 upon completion of the second

phase of the acquisition.
