大手太陽光技術メーカーで太陽エネルギー・サービスプロバイダーのサンエジソン（SunEdison Inc.、NYSE: SUNE）は12日、フィリピンの大手電力会社Aboitiz Power Corporation（アボイティス・パワー、以下AboitizPower）の全額出資子会社Aboitiz Renewables, Inc.（ARI）と共同枠組み契約を結んだと発表した。契約は今後3年にわたりフィリピンで最大300メガワット（MW）の公益事業規模の太陽光発電プロジェクトを共同で調査、開発、建設、運営する意図を文書化している。
