＊エンジニアリング系経営幹部を最高成果管理責任者（Chief Delivery Officer）に任命

GlobalLogicは11日、ザヒール・アッラーム氏（Zaheer Allam）が同社の最高成果管理責任者として加入し、シャシャンク・サマント最高経営責任者（CEO）に直接リポートしていると発表した。アッラーム氏の職務はGlobalLogicの世界全体におけるエンジニアリング活動を監督する。同社は世界中で新たなエンジニアリング・センターを建設することに注力しており、最近では今年初めにスロバキアで建設した。

アッラーム氏はエンジニアリング分野で25年を超える経験を持ち、無線通信、監視、自動車、エンタープライズ・ソフトウエア、ビッグデータを専門としてきた。同氏は以前、Polaris Wirelessで最高製品責任者を務めており、その間、キャリアグレードのワイヤレスロケーション・ソリューションおよびエンタープライズ監視ソリューションを開発する目的で、インドで複数のエンジニアリング・チーム、中近東およびアフリカで導入チームを立ち上げ、管理した。それ以前には、同氏は固定電話と携帯電話を融合する業界のリーダーであるAzaire Networksのエンジニアリング担当副社長として同社を立ち上げ、勤務した。アッラーム氏はベンチャー企業をはじめ、エリクソン、リコー、フォード・モーター、Metricomなどの大手世界企業で数々の技術幹部職を歴任している。

GlobalLogic Continues Leadership Momentum with Hire of Zaheer Allam

         -- Engineering Executive Appointed as Chief Delivery Officer

GlobalLogic today announced that Zaheer Allam has joined the company as Chief

Delivery Officer, reporting to CEO Shashank Samant. In his role, Allam will

oversee GlobalLogic's engineering efforts worldwide. The company has been

focused on building new engineering centers across the globe, most recently in

Slovakia earlier this year.

Allam brings over 25 years of engineering experience, specializing in wireless

telecommunications, surveillance, automotive, enterprise software and big data.

As Chief Product Officer at Polaris Wireless, Allam built and managed

engineering teams in India and deployment teams in Middle East and Africa to

develop commercial carrier grade wireless location solutions and enterprise

surveillance solutions. Prior to that, he founded and served as Vice President

of Engineering at Azaire Networks, a leader in the fixed mobile convergence

space. Allam has also held various technical management positions at startups

and large global corporations like Ericsson, Ricoh, Ford Motor Company and

Metricom.
