エンタープライズ・モビリティー・マネジメント（EMM）のリーダーであるMobileIron（NASDAQ: MOBL）と高度なサイバー攻撃防止のリーダーであるFireEye, Inc.（NASDAQ: FEYE）は16日、MobileIronとFireEye（R）Mobile Threat Prevention（TM）（MTP（TM））ソリューションの統合を発表した。この統合によって、IT部門はFireEyeが検知したモバイルアプリ脅威に対応し、MobileIronプラットフォームを介して事前にセキュリティー対策を講じることが可能となる。

この統合によってアプリ・セキュリティーは、システム・パフォーマンスを低下させ脅威を受動的に検知するだけのシグネチャー・エージェント方式から脱却することができる。すなわち、データ損失のリスクを軽減するために事前に対策を講じポリシーを確立するうえでITが必要とする脅威対策の情報を提供するビヘイビア方式による解析へと進化した。

This integration is the next step in the evolution of app security from
signature-based agents that degrade system performance and only reactively spot
threats to behavior-based analytics that provide the threat intelligence IT
