富士6時間耐久レースで再びタイアップ

米国カリフォルニア州アーバイン（2014年9月30日）世界中のモータースポーツファンが心待ちにしている 2014 年 FIA 世界耐久選手権（WEC）富士戦が、来る10月12日に開催されます。このレースに、国際的に活躍しているドライバー、ダリル・オーヤン、アレックス・マクドウェル、フェルナンド・リーズがインターラッシュ（Interush, Inc.）のスポンサーカーである99番アストンマーティンV8ヴァンテージGTEにて、表彰台入りを目指して参戦します。3人のドライバーたちの活躍が期待される決勝戦当日には、インターラッシュおよびアストンマーティンファンが現地に駆け付け、専用応援席から99番マシンに熱い声援を送ります。

ル・マン24時間耐久レースでは、開始前日のプラクティス・セッションでアストンマーティン99番マシンが事故に見舞われ、3人のドライバーたちは無念の参戦見送りとなりました。そのため、今回の富士6時間耐久レースでは、持ち前の積極果敢なドライビング・スキルを見せつけるべく闘志を燃やしています。

富士6時間耐久レースは2014年FIA世界耐久選手権シリーズの一戦として、長い歴史を持つ富士スピードウェイで行われます。富士山の裾野に位置するこのサーキットは1966年にオープンして以来、様々な国際レースの舞台となり、名だたるドライバーたちが名勝負を繰り広げてきました。その様子はテレビで放映されたほか、ビデオゲームとしてもお目見えし、長年にわたり日本のモータースポーツ界を支え続けてきました。

Interush and Craft Bamboo Aston Martin Team up Once Again for the 6 Hours of Fuji Race

    International motorsports enthusiasts around the world are getting ready

for the much-anticipated World Endurance Championship race in Fuji, Japan on

October 12, 2014. International drivers Darryl O' Young, Alex MacDowall and

Fernando Rees will again be representing the team in the Interush-sponsored #99

Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE and hopes are high for a winners' podium outcome.

Interush and Aston Martin race fans are looking forward to watching their

drivers in action from the Interush-designated cheering section, giving their

full support to the #99.

    Darryl O' Young, Fernando Rees and Alex MacDowall are very anxious to climb

back into their #99 Aston Martin again after their unfortunate crash that

occurred in practice the night before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

race. The three drivers were very disappointed to miss that event, and are

looking forward to showing their aggressive driving skills in the upcoming

6-hour endurance race in Japan.

    The 6 Hours of Fuji is a part of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship

(WEC) season, and is held at the historic Fuji International Speedway. The

speedway, located at the foot hills of Mount Fuji, represents the rich legacy

of Japanese motor racing, being the site where several renowned racecar drivers

have competed. Opened in 1966, the site has been used for national races

throughout the years and has been featured in various Japanese television shows

and video games.

famous Fuji Speedway and witness the exciting performance of Aston Martin
