【蘇州（中国）、サンタクララ（米カリフォルニア州）2014年9月29日PRN＝共同通信JBN】次世代クラウドコンピューティング向けの光トランシーバーで世界をリードするInnoLight Technology Corporationは29日、Google CapitalやLightspeed China Partnersなどから3800万ドルのシリーズC資金調達を完了したと発表した。

Google Capitalのゼネラル・パートナー、ジーン・フランツ氏は「InnoLightの技術は次世代データセンター環境にみごとに適合しており、同社のビジョンや業績も素晴らしい。Google Capitalの投資対象としてはアジアで2番目、中国で最初となるInnoLightは、わが社がサポートを提供しようとしている企業、経営陣の好例だ」と語った。

Lightspeed China Partnersのマネジング・ディレクター、ジェームズ・ミ氏も「InnoLightはクラウドコンピューティングの急成長を追い風にし、次世代データセンターのニーズを満たす業界先進技術と製品を持っている。InnoLightの経験豊かな経営陣と協力できるのはうれしいことだ」と述べた。

InnoLight取締役会会長のシン・クン博士は「Google CapitalやLightspeed China Partnersのような世界的な投資企業からの投資に感激している。InnoLightを世界クラスのオプティカル製品メーカーに育てるうえで、両社との密接な協力に期待している」と語った。
