【ニューヨーク2014年9月11日PRN＝共同通信JBN】One-Blue, LLC（http://www.one-blue.com/ ）は11日、株式会社デジオン（本社、福岡市）がライセンシーとしてOne-Blue, LLCによるブルーレイディスク（BD、Blu-ray Disk=TM）の製品ラインセンス計画に加わったと発表した。デジオンは有力ライセンサーからブルーレイディスクに欠かせない重要な特許へのアクセス権を与えるBDソフトウエア使用許諾契約を結んだ。

One-Blueの小松茂IPライセンシング担当ディレクターは「デジオンはデジタルTV、レコーダー／プレーヤー、PCなど複数プラットフォーム間でデジタルコンテンツを共有することができるホームネットワーク・ソフトウエアの有力デベロッパーであり、One-Blueのライセンス計画への参加を歓迎する」と語った。

One-Blueはブルーレイディスク（TM）製品に欠かせない特許のライセンス計画を管理しており、同特許ライセンサーの共同ライセンシング・エージェントである。ハードウエア、ソフトウエア製品に対する製品ライセンスは、ブルーレイディスク（TM）、DVD、CDの必須特許を対象とし、ディスク製品に対する製品ライセンスはブルーレイディスク（TM）必須特許をカバーしている。

DigiOn, Inc. Joins the One-Blue Licensing Program for Blu-ray Disc(TM)

    One-Blue (http://www.one-blue.com/), LLC, today announced that DigiOn, Inc.

of  Fukuoka, Japan has joined the One-Blue Blu-ray Disc(TM)  product licensing

program as a licensee. DigiOn signed the License Agreement for BD Software

which grants the company access to important patents essential to the Blu-ray

Disc(TM) standard from leading licensors.

    "DigiOn is a leading developer of home-network software that enables the

sharing of digital content among multiple platforms such as digital TVs,

recorders/players and PCs and is a welcomed addition to the One-Blue licensing

    One-Blue administers the licensing program for patents essential to Blu-ray

Disc(TM) products and is the joint licensing agent of its licensors. For

hardware and software products, the product license covers Blu-ray Disc(TM),

DVD and CD essential patents; for disc products, the product license covers

Blu-ray Disc(TM) essential patents.
