【デトロイト2014年7月29日PRN=共同JBN】「From Me To You」は全体としてバーバラ・キスのこれまで人生の仕事を代表、2010年以降アルバム用につくったさまざまな曲とともに、2009年に録音した最初のオリジナルソング「Your Smile」を含んでいる。キスはアルバム本来のジャンルを「ポップミュージック」と表現しているが、ロックのような曲や素晴らしいバラードもある。また、独特の東欧風の印象もあり、ほかのアーティストの曲と一味違ったものになっている。

12曲入りのアルバム、From Me To Youは2014年5月初め、Roadhouse Recordsによってデジタル版とアナログ版が再リリースされた。（特にデビューしたばかりの）多くのポップミュージシャンと異なり、キスはFrom Me To Youの大半を作詞作曲、12曲のうち8曲に取り組んだ。「Hero of my Life」「Perfect Night」「You're No Good」「Memories」「Your Smile」を作詞作曲し、「Time and Time Again」「Smilin', Lyin', and Denyin」を作詞、「Shy Boy」を共同でつくり上げた。
バーバラ・キスは6歳のときに歌とダンス、ピアノ演奏を始めた。14歳でハンガリー出身初の国際ポップスターになる夢を抱きはじめた。このため地元で最適のボーカルコーチとして尊敬されているジャズシンガーを見つけた。彼女がちょっとしたコツをすべてキスに教えたのである。
キスは2、3年前、音楽コンサルタント会社、MC-Inputと仕事をするようになり、同社は彼女にイタリアのプロデューサー、エンドリク・ファベロを紹介した。ファベロはイタリアのモンテベルーナでデビュー曲「Your Smile」を録音した。彼女はイタリアのフィレンツェで初の公式写真撮影を行った。2010年初めにはコンサルタントのジンジオ・ミュールバウアーと会うためロサンゼルスに出向いたが、彼がプロデューサー、ソングライター、ミュージシャン、エンジニアを紹介した。彼女は持ち前の華やかで興味深い独自の個性で彼らを魅了、一部プロデューサーはレコーディングセッションを申し出た。わずか6週間でレパートリーを1曲から6曲に増やした背景である。
音楽プロデューサーのジョージ・ベイカーは彼女のキャリアに影響を与えた。いまや彼女の才能は世界に羽ばたく。バーバラ・キスのニューシングル「The Time」は8月にリリースされる。

Roadhouse Records Releases Barbara Kiss's 'From Me To You'

As a whole, 'From Me To You' represents Barbara Kiss' life's work and includes
the singer's first original song, "Your Smile," recorded back in 2009, as well
as variety of tracks created for the album in 2010 and beyond. Kiss describes
the album's primary genre as "pop music," but with some rock-flavored songs and
some beautiful ballads as well. It also has that unique Eastern European feel
to it, which makes it a little different from other artists' music.

The 12-track album From Me To You was re-released by Roadhouse Records in early
May 2014 on digital and physical platforms. Unlike many pop musicians (and
especially ones just beginning a career), Kiss wrote most of the material of
From Me To You. Of the 12 tracks, Kiss worked on eight of the songs. She wrote
the melody and lyrics for "Hero of my Life," "Perfect Night," "You're No Good,"
"Memories," and "Your Smile." She also wrote the lyrics for "Time and Time
Again," "Smilin', Lyin', and Denyin'," and co-wrote "Shy Boy."
Kiss began singing, dancing and playing the piano at the age of 6. At the age
of 14 she began dreaming of becoming an international pop star, the first from
Hungary. So she found the perfect vocal coach in her home town, a
well-respected jazz singer who taught Kiss every little secret she knows.
A couple of years ago Kiss started working with a music consultant, MC-Input,
who helped her get in contact with Italian producer Endrik Favero who recorded
her first song, "Your Smile," in Montebelluna, Italy. She had her first
official photo shoot in Florence, Italy. In the beginning of 2010 she traveled
to Los Angeles to meet with her consultant, Gingio Muehlbauer, who started
introducing her to producers, songwriters, musicians and engineers. She won
them over with her colorful, interesting and unique personality and some of the
producers offered her a recording session. That is how her musical repertoire
grew from 1 song to 6 songs in just 6 weeks.
A music producer from the state named George Baker has made an Impact on her
career. And now she is taking her talent worldwide, Barbara Kiss' new single
"The Time" will be released in August 2014.
