【シンガポール、ソウル（韓国）2014年7月29日PRN=共同JBN】Centre For Management Technology主催のメジャーイベント、第5回バイオマスペレット・トレード＆パワー（Biomass Pellets Trade & Power）会議が2014年9月23日から25日まで再びソウルで開催され、「中国、日本および韓国におけるバイオマス需要の成長に乗る」というタイムリーなテーマで議論が行われることになった。この会議は、アジアの経済3大国における需要の伸び、オーストラリア、ベトナム、インドネシア、フィリピン、カナダ、米国のバイオマスペレット製造企業の大きな供給機会について検討を加える。

2014年のサミット開幕にあたり、韓国、日本、中国のバイオマス需要、成長予測に関する以下をはじめとするプレゼンテーションが行われる。Korea Wood Pellet Corporationのイ・ミンギュ社長による「韓国のバイオマス利用市場の発展と成長予測」、サミットエナジー株式会社の川辺豊明社長による概説「再生可能エネルギー電力固定価格買取制度（FIT）、日本におけるバイオマスから電源開発まで、およびサミットエナジーの糸魚川バイオマス発電所（SMP）」、Anhui Guozhen Biomass Power Generationのリ・ヨンファ最高経営責任者（CEO）の「中国のバイオマス発電の開発－機会とビジネスとしての存続性」。

この大規模イベントの中でも重要なセッションは韓国環境省高官による「廃棄物資源とバイオマス規制：韓国への発電用パーム油バイオマス（ごみ固形燃料）輸入－注意すべき主要手順と品質ガイドライン」で、これは韓国のごみ固形燃料の輸入認可に関する最近の修正を説明するものになる。

さらに、韓国南東発電（KOSEP）、韓国南部発電（KOSPO）、韓国西部発電（KOWEPO）、韓国中部発電（KOMIPO）、韓国東西発電（EWP）など韓国電力会社の代表が混燃および（または）バイオマス専用発電計画と木質ペレット／バイオマスの輸入に関する見通しを述べることになっている。それに加え、PT Inhutani III（Persero）、PT Trenergy Biomasse Indonesia、CellMark Asia Pte Ltd、Green Circle Bio Energy Inc.などのバイオマス材料サプライヤーがきわめて重要な市場分析を提供する。

今回の議題に特に加えられたものは以下の通り。
