◎フィンランドのカーゴテックがCitecにインド業務を譲渡

【ムンバイ(インド)、バーサ(フィンランド)2014年6月13日PRN=共同JBN】フィンランドのCitecはこのほど、カーゴテック(Cargotec)と長期提携関係に入った。この提携によってカーゴテックは、インド・プネにあるエンジニアリグセンターをCitecに譲渡する。この取引はカーゴテックがプネに保有するエンジニアリングングセンターと同センターの110人の従業員を委譲することが含まれている。カーゴテックのエンジニアリングセンターは世界的な荷役業界向けエンジニアリング・プロジェクトに関係している。Citecにとってこの取引は、インドにおける急速な成長とともに製造業界のエンジニアリング上の競争力強化を可能にする。

カーゴテックのコンテナ業務部門Kalmarのオッリ・イソタロ社長は「カーゴテックはインドにおけるエンジニアリング・パートナーを探し求めていたので、インドから世界的に活動しているCitecの確かな経験と実績が今回の決断を容易にした。この提携関係によってカーゴテックはより柔軟かつ効率的な経営ができると同時に、プネにいる110人のエンジニアには大きな就業チャンスとなる。当社の戦略目標は、インドにおける貨物業務部門Hiab、コンテナ業務部門Kalmar、海上輸送部門のマックグレゴー(MacGregor)事業の市場ポジションが伸び、強化されることである」と語った。

Citecのグローバル部門は今後、世界的なプロジェクトのために、カーゴテックとその業務部門であるHiab、Kalmar、マックグレゴーのエンジニアリングサービスとともに技術文書サービスを提供することになる。

Cargotec Transfers its India Engineering Operations to Citec

Citec has entered into a long-term partnership with Cargotec, where

Cargotec transfers its engineering centre in Pune, India, to Citec. The

transaction includes the transfer of Cargotec's current engineering business

and its 110 employees from Cargotec to Citec. Cargotec's engineering centre in

Pune is involved in engineering projects for the global cargo handling

industry. For Citec, the transaction enables a fast growth in India, as well as

strengthened engineering competence for the manufacturing industry. The

agreement comes into effect as of June 13, 2014.
