共同創業者でディレクターのマムン・チョードリ氏は「わが社は高品質で現代的なヘリテージコートをトスカーナから東京まで、都会の若い消費者向けにデザイン、製造している。顧客の9割は英国以外に住んでいる。彼らが求めるのは国際スタイルを伴う英国文化だ。『メイド・イン・ブリテン』の保証は、われわれの持続的成功の核心にある」と語った。

London Tradition は2002年に創業、高級衣料品をデザインし英国内で製造している。同社の早くからの革新的アプローチは、看板商品の1つの開発につながった。ヘリテージ・ダッフルコートで、英国海軍との特別な関係やモンゴメリー陸軍元帥が着用していたことから「モンゴメリー」の名でも知られている。

現在、全製造工程は依然としてロンドンの広々とした工場とデザインスタジオをベースにしている。 コートは1着ずつ布地を裁断、手作業で仕上げられ、素材はイタリアや英国の高級ウールを使っている。縫製はスキルと経験が必要で、同社は伝統的な英国方式を採用する職人グループを確保している。

for Enterprise 2014 for International Trade having demonstrated continuous and

cumulative growth in exports sales of 865% over six years.

    Founded in 2002, London Tradition Ltd designs high quality clothing that is

manufactured in the UK. The company's early innovative approach led to the

development of one of their signature garments - the Heritage Duffle Coat -

also known as 'the Montgomery' for its links to the British Royal Navy and

being worn by Field Marshall Montgomery.

    Today, all manufacturing is still based in London in a spacious factory and

design studio. Every coat is hand-finished, hand-cut and made from luxury

Italian or English wool cloth. The process demands skill and experience and the
