ダリル・オーヤン、インターラッシュ・スポンサーのアストンマーティンGTEで2014年FIA世界耐久選手権に参戦

一流ドライバーやレーシングチームを始め、世界中のモータースポーツファンが心待ちにしている2014年FIA世界耐久選手権（WEC）が4月20日、イギリスで開幕します。インターラッシュがスポンサーを務める車体番号99番アストンマーティンV8ヴァンテージGTEを駆るのは、香港出身のドライバー、ダリル・オーヤン。彼は、今シーズンが自身のレース・キャリア史上最高のものとなるよう、目下トレーニングを重ねています。

クラフト・バンブー・アストンマーティン・レーシング・チーム所属のダリル・オーヤンは、今回FIA世界耐久選手権に初参戦となりますが、いまからその活躍が有望視されています。過去4年間、FIA世界ツーリングカー選手権（WTCC）において、確たる成績を収めてきたオーヤンは、インターラッシュ・スポンサーのマシンで挑んだ2012年WTCCマカオグランプリにて、2部門で優勝を獲得しました。また、彼にとって大きな節目となった2013年は、最も過酷なレースとして世界的に注目を集めるル・マン24時間耐久レースにおいて、自己ベストとなる部門2位という快挙を果たしました。

Darryl O'Young to Compete in 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship in Interush-Sponsored Aston Martin GTE Car

World-class drivers, race teams, and motorsports fans are counting down the

days to the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship race season that will start

April 20, 2014, in England. Meanwhile, Hong Kong race driver, Darryl O'Young,

is training and preparing to make this his best season ever in the

Interush-sponsored #99 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE this season.

Darryl O'Young of Craft Bamboo Aston Martin Racing team is expected to do very

well racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time. He

switched to this series after enjoying 4 years of successful racing while

competing in the FIA World Touring Car Championship, including double wins with

the Interush-sponsored touring race car at the 2012 WTCC Macau Grand Prix. 2013

was a significant milestone as he celebrated his best finish, in 2nd place, at

the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans considered one of the most challenging

endurance races.
