【ニューデリー2014年4月8日PRN=共同JBN】4G World Indiaは昨年の第1回会議成功を受けて4月24、25の両日、グルガオンのLeela Ambience Hotelで第2回会議を開催すると発表した。
ことしはグローバルな電気通信アナリスト、バージ・アイバジアン、アリ・バナジー、スリンダル・パイ（Tonse Teleco創業者兼最高経営責任者＝CEO）の各氏が4Gの成功、4G端末・サービスのエコシステム、4Gネットワーク変革の戦略を中心とする内容豊富な会議を通じて参加者を案内する。会議の呼び物はこのほか、独占的な電気通信業界首脳の円卓会議、監督官庁による円卓討議、アナリストの発表、政府高官の基調演説である。
さらに、Introduction to LTE & Evolutionsのワークショップも実施する。そこでは参加者がLTEの動機付けを理解、LTEのインターフェースとプロトコル、MIMOやOFDMのコンセプトを説明、LTEのアーキテクチャー、ノード・進化型パケットコア（EPC）を表現してLTEボイスオプションを定義、LTEとLTE進化版を理解する。
参加者は4時間の訓練プログラムを終えると、NGNGuru Solutionsと4G World Indiaから修了証を授与される。
会議の議長でUBM Tech編集主任の4G業界アナリスト、バージ・アイバジアン氏は「今回の4G World Indiaは純粋に4Gネットワーク変革に焦点が当てられる。インドでは3G上のレイヤーとして4Gが発展してきた。これまで開発されたTD- LTEネットワークは小さくて範囲が限られ、既存の3Gネットワークの付加機能にすぎなかった。3G、4G双方をサポートできる端末、特にこれらのネットワークを直ちに使えるスマートフォンやタブレットの開発が求められていた。4Gネットワークの利用は従来、PCやラップトップ用ドングルにほぼ限られていた。従って、3Gと4G向けに開発された端末エコシステムを持つまで、インドには本当の4G環境がなかったのである」と語った。

After the success of the launch edition last year, the 4G World India
announces the second edition to be held this year in April, on 24th & 25th at
The Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurgaon.

particularly smart phones and tablets that will immediately work on these
networks. So far we have seen mostly dongles being used to make PCs and
Laptops, to work on the 4G networks. So until we have the device ecosystem that
is developed for 3G & 4G, we are not really going to have a true 4G environment
