英アヴィバ社（AVEVA）は24日、AVEVA E3D Insightが電力、プロセスプラント、採鉱業界のプロジェクトの意思決定者向けに市販されると発表した。Windows 8.1によるこのアプリケーションによって、移動中のユーザーはタブレット機器からプラント設計ソフトウエアAVEVA Everything3D（AVEVA E3D）による設計を確認し、承認することができる。AVEVA E3D Insightはマイクロソフトとのコラボレーションで開発されたもので、変化する顧客の要望をくみ取り、世界のどこからでも必要に応じていつでも設計を事前調査、確認、承認することができる。

AVEVA E3D Insightは効率的なリーンビジネス（Lean business）活動を支援するため、設計のレビューと承認処理を円滑にする。同ソフトウエアは1日24時間いつでも、どこにいてもライブのAVEVA E3D設計モデルに確実かつ直接アクセスする権限を認定されたユーザーに与えることで、プロジェクトの効率を最大限に高める。
