    -- New Embraco solution changes how compressors operate and opens new

                 possibilities for domestic refrigeration

   Embraco, world market leader in hermetic compressors for refrigeration,

launches the WISEMOTION technology globally. One of its most innovative

features is the fact that it's the first oil-free compressor for residential

applications. This new concept will revolutionize refrigeration market,

expanding the possibilities in designing new refrigerators - from format to

additional smart features.

   According to Fabio Klein, Research & Development Director of Embraco,

WISEMOTION will enable benefits such as better food conservation, better use of

the space inside the refrigerator and low noise. The reduction in energy

consumption can reach more than 20% when compared to the most commercialized

high efficiency compressors in the world market. "WISEMOTION also innovates in

the use of the latest generation of materials and new coatings applied to its

mechanical parts, which enable its operation without the use of oil", informs

Klein.

   WISEMOTION's benefits

   Cold that preserves

   With WISEMOTION it will be possible to obtain minimal temperature

differences inside the refrigerator. For the consumer, this benefit contributes

to reducing food waste, once the temperature constancy allows maximum

preservation of products.

   Silent

   WISEMOTION brings the most modern and innovative solutions in noise control:

the usual 'on and off' noise of traditional refrigerators is imperceptible.

   Energy savings

   WISEMOTION has the highest energy efficiency levels. If applied today, it

could have energy savings of over 20% in refrigeration systems when compared to

the most commercialized compressors in the global market.

   Compact and eco-friendly

   WISEMOTION is about 100mm lower and uses approximately 50% less raw material

than conventional compressors. It's also more economical with respect to the

refrigerant charge by approximately 20% when compared to traditional equipment.

   Versatile

   Compressors which use oil-free technology can be installed in different

locations within the refrigeration system. This will allow the creation of

refrigerators' cabinets design beyond the traditional rectangular shape.

   How does it work?

   WISEMOTION is designed using smart electronics and mechanical parts coated

with a technology capable of eliminating the use of lubricating oils in the

equipment. The refrigerant gas will have both the roles to cool and lubricate

the system's friction points.
