＊スマートメーター通信モジュールがWi-SUN Allianceの認証を達成

エネルギー管理、スマートユーティリティー・ネットワーク・アプリケーションに利用する相互運用可能な無線ソリューションの開発組織で構成する世界規模のエコシステムであるWi-SUN（登録商標）Allianceは13日、ECHONET Lite Profileをサポートする最初のWi-SUN Alliance認証製品を発表した。日本電気（NEC）と東芝の両社は合同で、スマートメーター通信モジュールのテストを終了し、Allianceがこのほど発表したGlobal Certification Programに準拠したWi-SUN ECHONET Profile認証を達成した。日本電気と東芝は、Wi-SUN Alliance ECHONETワーキンググループによって定義され、東京電力（TEPCO）によって採用されたBルート・インターフェースをサポートする通信モジュールの供給で協力している。BルートはスマートメーターとHEMS（宅内エネルギー管理システム）の間の通信をサポートする。

Wi-SUN Alliance Certifies First ECHONET Lite Product

The Wi-SUN(R) Alliance, a global ecosystem of organizations creating

interoperable wireless solutions for use in energy management and smart-utility

network applications, today announced the first Wi-SUN Alliance certified

product supporting the ECHONET Lite Profile. NEC and TOSHIBA jointly completed

testing of a smart meter communications module to achieve Wi-SUN ECHONET

Profile certification according to the Alliance's recently announced Global

Certification Program.  NEC and Toshiba have been collaborating to provide the

communications module to support the Route B interface as defined by Wi-SUN

Alliance ECHONET Working Group and adopted by Tokyo Electronic Power Company

(TEPCO). The Route B supports a communication between a smart meter and HEMS

(Home Energy Management System.)
