　＊2013年の経済制裁解除以来初となる発電所建設計画が、米企業APR Energyとミャンマー政府間で結ばれた。

ファストトラック（早期）発電ソリューションのグローバルリーダーであるAPR Energy （http://www.aprenergy.com/）は12日、ミャンマーにおける大規模なターンキー方式の発電（http://www.aprenergy.com/our-business）契約を結んだと発表した。同発電施設は最高100メガワット（MW）までの工場設備能力を持ち、最低82MWの電力をミャンマー電力公社（MEPE）に供給する。ミャンマー・マンダレー州チエウセに建設され、天然ガスを燃料とするAPR Energyのソリューションは、同国最大規模の火力発電所の1つであり、600万人余りに給電する。APR Energyの契約は、2013年に経済制裁を解除して以来、米企業がミャンマー政府と結んだ初の発電契約である。

APR Energy Announces Landmark Power Contract Win in Myanmar

government of Myanmar since lifting of sanctions in 2013

solutions, today announces the signing of a large-scale, turnkey power

(http://www.aprenergy.com/our-business) contract in Myanmar. The facility will

provide the Myanmar Electric Power Enterprise (MEPE) with a guaranteed minimum

of 82 megawatts (MW) of power generation, with plant capacity to deliver up to

100MW. Based in Kyaukse, in the Mandalay Region, and fueled by natural gas, the

APR Energy solution will be one of the largest thermal plants in the country

and will provide power to more than six million people. The APR Energy contract

is the first power generation agreement signed by a US-based company with the

government of Myanmar since the lifting of sanctions in 2013.

The APR Energy turnkey plant, featuring mobile gas power modules

cleanest power generation solutions in Myanmar and will represent a significant

investment in the infrastructure of the country. APR Energy will provide a

bridging solution for the medium term while the country develops its long-term

to deliver to a very challenging timeframe, as well as for the efficiency of

second quarter of 2014 and is expected to run through to late 2015.
