Wanda Hotels and Resortsの2013年度ブランドセレモニーは、ブランドフォーラムとブランドセレモニーの2部門に及んだ。初めにGreat China and Bangkok of HVSのダニエル・ヴォレム社長が「2013年度Wanda Hotels and Resorts向けブランド開発報告」を公表した。ブランドフォーラムには業界のエリートが集結、業界首脳と特別の対話を交わした。香港ホテル協会のジェームズ・ルー専務理事がWanda Hotels and Resortsのマイケル・スチーブンス副社長、ホーワスHTLのナイジェル・サマーズ取締役、STRグローバル アジア・パシフィックのジャスパー・パームクビスト取締役、Ctrip.comのマリア・サン上級副社長とともに「中国5つ星ホテルブランドのステータスと発展」と題して突っ込んだ討論を展開した。

Hurun Reportのルパート・フージワーフ会長兼首席研究員が司会になり、Wanda Hotels and Resortsのイルヤ・ポーパー副社長、Great China and Bangkok of HVSのダニエル・ヴォレム社長、AVA Hospitalityのエルンスト・ツィマーマン氏、Global Tourist MarketのシニアディレクターであるReed Travel Exhibitionsのサイモン・プレス氏が「中国ブランド国際化の強みと脅威」について討議した。

CCTV9の著名アンカーマン、ジェームズ・チャウ氏は同夜のブランド／表彰セレモニーでホスト役を務めた。Global Tourist Marketのシニアディレクター、Reed Travel Exhibitionsのサイモン・プレス氏がWorld Travel Marketの2013年「Global Award」をWanda Hotels and Resortsに進呈した。

表彰式は、中国慈善協会のワン・リン氏が「Hotel Making the Best Contribution to the Wanda Children's Foundation」を授賞して閉会した。

Wanda Hotels and Resorts Holds Its First Brand Ceremony

    On January 13, 2014, Wanda Hotels and Resorts held its first grand annual

brand forum and ceremony with the theme "China Brands Future". Nearly three

hundred guests gathered together with both foreign and domestic media to enjoy

a feast of high-end hotel brands. The forum was held at Wanda Realm Beijing

Hotel. Mr. David Cheng, President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts gave the welcome

speech while Mr. Zhang Rungang, Chairman of the China Tourist Hotel

Association, also gave an excellent keynote speech.

    The 2013 Brand Ceremony for Wanda Hotels and Resorts covered two sectors --

the brand forum and brand ceremony. First, Mr. Daniel Voellm, the Managing

Director of Great China and Bangkok of HVS delivered the "2013 Brand

Development Report for Wanda Hotels and Resorts". The brand forum gathered the

industry elite, clashing with extraordinary dialogue of the industrial peak:

Mr. James Lu, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Hotel Association, along with

Mr. Michael Stevens, Vice President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts, Director -

Nigel Summers of Horwath HTL, Director Jesper Palmqvrst of Asia Pacific for STR

Global, and Senior Vice President - Maria Sun of Ctrip.com all engaged in a

profound discussion on the topic of "Status and Development Trends of Five-star

Hotel Brands in China".

    Presided over by Mr. Rupert Hoogewerf, Chairman and Chief Researcher of the

Hurun Report, Mr. Ilja Poepper, Vice President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts, the

Managing Director of Great China and Bangkok of HVS - Daniel Voellm, Mr. Ernst

Zimmerman from AVA Hospitality, and Director Simon Press from the Global

Tourist Market, Reed Travel Exhibitions, the topic of "Strength and Threat for

Chinese Brand Going Global " was discussed.

    Mr. James Chau from Britain, the famous anchorman from CCTV9, hosted the

brand and award ceremony on the night. Senior Director - Simon Press, from the

Global Tourist Market, Reed Exhibition Company, presented the "Global Award"

for the 2013 World Travel Market to Wanda Hotels and Resorts.

    The award ceremony was closed by Ms. Wang Ling from the China Charity

Federation, who presented the award for the "Hotel Making the Best Contribution

to the Wanda Children's Foundation".
