【ムンバイ（インド）2013年11月11日PRN=共同JBN】11月19－20日開かれる国際医薬品原料・中間体展（CPhI）のクリーニング評価ワークショップは、（医薬品製造）プロセス評価に関する米商品医薬品局（FDA）の最近のガイドラインに従って、この問題について焦点を絞ったインド初の技術的ワークショップになる。

無菌製剤および非経口薬剤の専門的な団体PDAのTraining and Research Institute教官でもある医薬品のクリーニングおよびクリーニング評価の専門家デスティン・ルブラン氏は、クリーニング評価についてFDA職員を定期的に訓練しており、特殊化学品および医療技術における技術的サービスと製品開発について25年余りの経験を持っている。

適当な間隔を置いて医療機器をメンテナンスしたりクリーニングしたり、あるいは最終的な洗浄（リンス）検証を指示しないことは、表面上はささいな問題のように見えるが、容易に重大なクリーニング評価違反行為になりうる。プロセスのすべての段階でこれらの失態を避けることができる最善策を知っているだろうか。

デスティン氏は現行の規制と提案されているガイダンスについて協議、議論するためインドのムンバイに来て、以下の問題に関する技術的集会とともにクリーニング評価を予定している。

　＊（農薬など残留）許容量の確定、評価戦略の決定における多品種製品製造施設の問題を管理し、評価状態を維持すること。

　＊必要とするすべての規制上の条件に対応する残留許容量の算出。

　＊リスクベースのアプローチ。

　＊外観検査とサンプリング。

「Cleaning Validation: Practical Compliance Solutions for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and upper management to meet the challenges of the science-based and risk-based approaches to cleaning validation（クリーニング評価：医薬品製造に対する実践的コンプライアンス・ソリューションおよびクリーニング評価に対する科学的、リスクベースのアプローチ上の問題点）」と題する同氏の第3巻は、同じ問題についてのこれまでの著作2巻を補完するもので、当初2009年から2012年12月までに公表された月々のクリーニング・メモを加筆、更新した。

    CPhI's Cleaning Validation workshop on the 19-20 November promises to be

India's first fully focused technical workshop on the subject, following the

recently released guidelines from the USFDA on Process Validation

    Destin Le Blanc, who is also on the faculty of the PDA Training and

Research Institute, regularly trains FDA personnel on cleaning validation and

has over 25 years of Technical Service and Product Development experience in

specialty chemicals and medical technologies.

    Maintaining or cleaning equipment at appropriate intervals or lack of

indication of final rinse verification may seem like small issues on the

surface but can easily lead to serious cleaning validation violations. Do you

    Destin will be in Mumbai to discuss and debate on current regulations and

proposed guidance that are in the making for cleaning validation along with

conducting technical sessions on

Solutions for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Destin encourages pharmaceutical

manufacturers and upper management to meet the challenges of the science-based

and risk-based approaches to cleaning validation. Volume 3, a complement to

Destin's two earlier books on the same subject, presents modifications and

updates of his monthly Cleaning Memos originally published from January 2009

through December 2012.
