最新リポートはサステイナビリティーを全社的ビジネス活動の中心に据える期間中に同社が達成した進展について特筆し、ビジネスモデルの中心にするサステイナビリティーに関するグローバルな課題を解決する同社の企画概要を説明している。

サステイナビリティーと環境に対するネオンライトのコミットメントは長年にわたり、同社事業の焦点の不可分の一部となってきた。この最新リポートは、ネオンライトの経済、環境、社会活動にサステイナビリティー原則を組み込むことで、いくつかの業務改善と成功をどのように生み出してきたかを示している。そのような改善と成功例は以下を含む。

　＊サステイナビリティー政策の確立は、ネオンライト全体でのサステイナビリティーの共通フレームワークとして、効果的に周知徹底されてきた。2011年に設立された委員会は、すべての企業サステイナビリティー活動に対する管理プラットフォームを提供し、長期的計画と戦略への投資を行った。

　＊2012年12月までに、490余りの特許および意匠登録がネオンライトの発明と製品設計に与えられた。同社は2011年と2012年だけで、90余りの特許と意匠登録が与えられた。

　＊労働災害件数がリポート対象期間の2年間で44%減少した。

　＊ネオンライト香港オフィスは、国際環境NGOの地球の友（Friends of the Earth）主催のエネルギー利用節減コンテスト「Power Smart 2012」でチャンピオンに指名された。

　＊教育、チャリティー、コミュニティーを支援する企業献金は510万米ドル余りに達した。

Neonlite Publishes Its Second Sustainability Report

   Neonlite Electronic & Lighting (HK) Limited, the owner of renowned

energy-efficient lighting brand, MEGAMAN(R)( http://www.megaman.cc/ ) today

launched its second Sustainability Report.

   The latest report highlights the progress that has been made by the Company

over the period in making Sustainability central to all of its business

activities and outlines Neonlite's plans to solve global challenges with

Sustainability at the heart of its business model.

   Neonlite's commitment to sustainability and the environment has long been an

integral part of the Company's business focus. This latest report demonstrates

how the embedding of sustainable principles into Neonlite's economic,

environmental and social activities has resulted in several business

improvements and successes, including:

    -- The establishment of a Sustainability Policy, which has been

       communicated effectively as a common framework for Sustainability

       throughout Neonlite. A committee, set up in 2011, provides a

       governing platform for all corporate sustainability activities,

       investing in long-term planning and strategies.

    -- Over 490 patents and design registrations have been granted for

       Neonlite's inventions and product designs up to December 2012. In

       2011 and 2012 alone, the Company has had over 90 new patents and

       design registrations granted.

    -- Technological breakthroughs in LED lamp efficacy have seen the

       production of a conceptual LED lamp reaching 95 lm/W and LED

       modules reaching 125 lm/W.

    -- The number of work accidents have reduced by 44% during the

       reporting period

    -- Neonlite's Hong Kong office has been named the Champion of

       "Power Smart 2012", an energy saving contest organized by

       Friends of the Earth.

    -- Corporate giving supporting education, charity and the community

       has reached over US$510,000.
