【北京2013年8月7日PRN=共同JBN】華山観光特区は8月2日、北京で「華山観光振興キャンペーン」を催した。「中国夢－華山情」（中国の夢・華山のこころ）をテーマにしたキャンペーンは華山への旅がもたらす冒険と独自性を北京市民に訴えた。華山風景名勝区（華山景区）管理委員会と北京市観光発展委員会から約100人の幹部要員とメディアがこのイベントに参加した。

イベントのための特設ウェブサイトでは華山の風景写真を特集し、ビジターたちに険しい断崖絶壁、幽玄な道教寺院、神秘的な雲霧の姿を眺めてもらった。同イベントはまた、影絵芝居の人形絵（皮影）、妖精の夢を見る枕（夢仙枕）、花まんじゅう（花饅）などのみやげ品を展示したが、いずれも陝西省の魅力を代表する品々である。

華山は陝西省渭南に所在する。同山は中国5名山の中で最も高い。みごとな景観を背景とする独特の名所290カ所があり、夏の避暑に最適で、探検を楽しんだり、道士たちの生活ぶりを体験したりできる。

華山風景名勝区管理委員会の霍文軍主任は、華山景区は近年、年ごとに観光客数と営業利益が増加していると述べた。華山景区を現代的な観光旅行、レジャー、娯楽の目的地として充実させるため、常々、その文化的、観光的資源の探求を重ねているが、その中には温泉や世界中の料理を提供するレストランなどが含まれている。華山景区は北京の旅行社やメディアと協力して、華山を北京からの観光目的地にしてゆくことになる。

プロモーション・イベントで、華山景区管理委員会は総額約80万元分の無料のチケットを配ると発表したが、その内訳は入場券2000枚、西峰ロープウエー利用券2000枚、北峰ロープウエー利用券2000枚などだった。同イベントは 8月4日、北京市の新東安ショッピングモールで行われた。

▽華山について

華山は中国5名岳の一つ。国家風光指定区であると同時に5A級観光地区でもあって、古代中国の首都であった西安の東120キロに位置する。清時代の学者、章太炎によれば、華山は中国文化発祥の地の一つである。中国はしばしば、中華や華夏とも呼ばれるが、二つの名称に含まれる「華」は中国における華山の重要性を示している。

Mt. Huashan Tourism Promotion Campaign Held in Beijing

Mt. Huashan Scenic Area held the Mt. Huashan Tourism Promotion Campaign in

Beijing on August 2. Themed "China Dream - Love of Mt. Huashan," the campaign

showed people in Beijing the adventure and uniqueness a trip to Mt. Huashan

brings. Nearly 100 executives from the Huashan Scenic Area Management Committee

and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development and media attended

the event.

The event website features scenic photos of Mt. Huashan, allowing visitors to

see the precipitousness of its cliffs, serene Taoist temples, and misty clouds.

The event also showcased shadow puppets, dream fairy pillows, flower buns and

other souvenirs, each of which are representative of the charm of Shaanxi.

Mt. Huashan is in Weinan, Shaanxi. The mountain is the highest of China's five

renowned mountains. Mt. Huashan has 290 unique attractions, set against a

distinctive landscape - perfect for avoiding the summer heat, having an

adventure and experiencing Taoist life.

Huo Wenjun, Director of the Huashan Scenic Area Management Committee, said

Huashan Scenic Area has recently seen yearly increases in the number of

tourists and operating income. Huashan Scenic Area has constantly explored its

culture and tourism resources in order to build a modern destination for

travel, leisure and entertainment, including spas and restaurants serving world

cuisines. Mt. Huashan Scenic Area will work with travel agencies and media in

Beijing to make Mt. Huashan a scenic destination in Beijing.

At the promotional event, Huashan Scenic Area Management Committee announced it

would distribute free tickets with an aggregate value of 800,000 RMB to

residents of Beijing, including 2,000 entrance tickets, 2,000 cableway tickets

to the West Peak and 2,000 cableway tickets to the North Peak. The event was

held at XinDongAn Square on August 4.

About Mt. Huashan

Mt. Huashan is one of China's five famous mountains. The national scenic site

and national 5A tourist attraction is 120 km east of China's ancient capital of

Xi'an. According to Zhang Taiyan, a scholar during the late Qing Dynasty, Mt.

Huashan was a birthplace of Chinese culture. China is often referred to as

Zhonghua and Huaxia; the Hua in both shows the importance of Mt. Huashan in

China.
