香港・2013年7月8日 /PRニュースワイヤー/ -- 世界のヘルスケア業界を代表する専門家や関係者が一堂に会する大規模なヘルスITカンファレンス、「HIMSS AsiaPac13 大中華圏eヘルス フォーラム」（http://www.himssasiapac.org/13）が今夏に香港で開催され、ITをヘルスケア業界に取り入れる上での戦略や課題、その結果などについての議論が展開されます。このイベントでは最新技術の体験や、患者ケアの改善やIT利用の安全性についての議論に参加することができます。会議は2013年8月1日と2日の両日、香港コンベンション＆エキシビション・センター（HKCEC）で開催され、これに先立ち7月31日にはパメラ・ユード・ネザーソウル東部病院において「看護情報科学」と「臨床医IT」の2つのシンポジウムで構成されるプレカンファレンスも開かれます。会議の主催者は非営利団体のHIMSSアジアパシフィックで、会議には医療サービス業者、政府組織、医療専門家団体、医療改善ソリューション業者などが集います。

「臨床医ITシンポジウム」は様々な医療施設におけるサービス向上、安全、品質保証に対するITの影響に重点を置いて話し合いが行われます。医療分野のトップ指導者や世界的な研究機関の上席執行役員が講演を行い、ITの医療現場への導入についての見識や成功事例などを共有します。このシンポジウムと同時に「看護情報科学シンポジウム」も開催され、看護業界でのIT事情に精通する世界の専門家がガバナンスや教育、ステークホルダーの取り込みなどについて話し合います。

8月1日に会議はHKCECに会場を移し、13の国と地域から招かれる20人以上の講師が「ヘルスIT（HIT）X.0」「モバイルヘルス」「コミュニティーにおける標準・互換性と医療」などいった演題でプレゼンテーションを行います。このフォーラムは「大中華圏フォーラム」と「国際フォーラム」の二つが同時進行する構成となっており、香港病院局eヘルスコンソーシアム理事長のWun Chung Por博士、食・健康局の食・健康事務局長のKo Wing-Man博士など、ヘルスケアの著名な専門家が講演を行います。

The Impact of IT on Healthcare to be Discussed by Worldwide Experts at HIMSS AsiaPac13, Hong Kong

   The world's leading healthcare speakers and industry experts are due to

converge at a major Health IT conference -- the HIMSS AsiaPac13 Greater China

eHealth Forum ( http://www.himssasiapac.org/13 )-- in Hong Kong this summer to

discuss strategies, challenges and outcome of Information Technology adoption

in the healthcare industry. Delegates attending the event will experience

emerging technologies and engage in discussions on enhancing patient care and

safety using IT. The conference will take place 1-2 August 2013 at the Hong

Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) with a pre-conference symposia

consisting of Nursing Informatics and Clinician IT Leadership at the Pamela

Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital on 31 July. The conference is organised by

HIMSS Asia Pacific, a not-for-profit organisation that brings together

healthcare providers, government bodies, healthcare professional organisations

and solution providers for the betterment of healthcare.

   The Clinician IT Symposium will focus on the impact of IT has on delivery

improvement, safety and quality assurance in various healthcare establishments.

Attendees will hear from top leaders in the medical field and senior executives

from global research organisations who will share their expertise and success

about implementing IT in Healthcare Running concurrently with the Clinician IT

Symposium is the Nursing Informatics Symposium. International experts with

in-depth knowledge of IT in the nursing sector will discuss subjects on

Governance, Education and Engaging stakeholders.

   On 1 August, the conference will move to the HKCEC where more than 20

speakers from 13 countries and regions will make presentations on topics

including Health IT (HIT) X.0, Mobile Health, Standards and Interoperability

and Care in the Community. This part of the conference will feature two forums

running in parallel -- The Greater China Forum and The International Forum --

with addresses from leading healthcare experts including Dr Wun Chung Por,

President of e-Health Consortium of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority and Dr. Ko

Wing-Man, Secretary for Food & Health, Food and Health Bureau Hong Kong.
