【ニューデリー2013年6月25日PRN=共同JBN】電気通信産業向け情報技術（IT）ソリューションとサービスを専門とする企業Tech Mahindra Limitedと世界的に有力なコンサルティング・ITサービスプロバイダーのMahindra Satyamは25日、両社が正式に合併したと発表した。

同社はインドでトップ5のITサービス企業の中に入り、合併後の企業体は売上高27億ドル、46カ国の540の顧客にサービスを提供する8万4000人のチームを抱えるテクノロジーサービス大企業となる。

合併企業はMahindra Group（マヒンドラ財閥）の伝統を反映して新しい姿とロゴを備え、その立場は新しいコネクテッド・ワールド（connected world）を代表して、革新的で顧客重視のサービスとソリューションを提供する。

Tech MahindraとMahindra Satyamの両取締役会は、2012年3月21日に合併を承認している。ムンバイ高等裁判所の強化を得て、この合併はアンドラプラデシュ高等裁判所からのクリアランス待ちとなっていたが、2013年6月11日に追認された。
