【ラホヤ（米カリフォルニア州）、上海2013年5月16日PRN=共同JBN】医薬品・医療機器会社RuiYi Inc.は16日、中国でRYI-008を開発するためGenor BioPharmaと独占的ライセンス契約を結び共同開発を開始すると発表した。RYI-008は自己免疫疾患およびがんに対する新たなパラダイムを定義する可能性を持つ新しい抗IL-6モノクローナル抗体である。

ARGX-109とも呼ばれていたRYI-008は、極めて強力なモノクローナル抗体であり、炎症やがんに関係するサイトカインの一種であるIL-6に対し高度に選択的に作用する。この抗体はベルギーのヘントにあるarGEN-Xで、arGEN-X SIMPLE Antibody（商標）技術によって発見された。RuiYiに世界的に開発、販売のためのライセンスが独占的に供与されている。

RuiYi and Genor BioPharma Collaborate on Development in China of RYI-008, a Novel Therapeutic for Autoimmune Diseases and Cancer

RuiYi Inc. announced today that it has entered into an exclusive license and

collaborative development agreement with Genor BioPharma for the development of

RYI-008 in China. RYI-008 is a novel anti-IL-6 monoclonal antibody with a

unique pharmacologic profile that has the potential to define a new paradigm in

the treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer.
