【コペンハーゲン（デンマーク）2013年5月7日PRN＝共同JBN】オープンプラットフォーム型IPビデオ管理ソフトウエア（VMS）企業Milestone Systemsはこのほど、2012年の堅実な決算報告書を発表、引き続き成長を続けていることを示した。製品イノベーション、ビジネス戦略、訓練とパートナー計画拡大を通じた従業員リーダーシップ啓発が成功の主要な要因だった。

Milestone Systemsは現在創設以来15年目となり、国内市場と海外とも高い伸びを実現し続けている。同社売上高は2011年の2億6600万デンマーククローネ（4689万米ドル）に対して、本年度は3億1800万クローネ（5562万米ドル）と19.5%の伸びを記録した。減価償却前の営業利益は5200万クローネ（900万米ドル）、純益は1262万クローネ（221万米ドル）に達した。従業員数は13%増となり、2011年平均310人から2012年には世界に展開する従業員数が351人になった。

    Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management

software, has delivered solid financial results for 2012 and demonstrates

continuous growth. A constant focus on product innovation, business strategy,

employee leadership development through management training and partner program

expansions have been key factors in the company’s success.

    Now in its 15th year, Milestone Systems continues to accomplish strong

growth both in their home market and internationally. Milestone has recorded

revenue growth of 19.5 percent to DKK 318 M (USD 55.62 M) against DKK 266 M in

2011 (USD 46.89 M). Operating income before depreciation (EBITDA) reached DKK

52 M (USD 9 M) and net income reached DKK 12.62 M (USD 2.21 M). The number of

employees grew by 13 percent, from 310 on average in 2011 to 351 employees

globally in 2012.

    In 2012 Milestone invested DKK 55.3 M (USD 9.67 M) in R&D as well as

additional millions in employee development and leadership training.

the training of our approximately 55 managers, who are now through the second

wave of Milestone Leadership Academy - a development program that makes our

leaders become even better at dealing with human, financial and technical

issues to ensure that these support our common goals. We do it because we

for us to give our employees the opportunity to take leadership and influence

    Expectations for the future

physical security market is estimated to be using analog equipment, so there is

considerable potential business that will be moving to IP networked solutions

over the coming years. Therefore, Milestone has created three new business

units to address a broader range of market opportunities, including Incubation

and Ventures with an office in Silicon Valley, USA.
