ユーラシアン・メディア・フォーラム（EAMF）はダリガ・ナザルバエバ博士のイニシアチブで2002年に創設された非営利組織で、対話を通じて東西の相互理解を深めるのが目的である。

EAMF 2013は最新の世界標準に沿って建設された左岸地域にある最新ビルのカザフスタン・メディア・センターを会場として開催され、同センターにはカザフスタンのすべての有力マスメディアが入居している。

今年のユーラシアン・メディア・フォーラムには、50カ国から500人を超えるゲストの参加を予定している。

EAMF 2013の議題には、国際治安支援部隊のアフガニスタン撤退後の地域安全保障問題、ソーシャル・マスメディアの急速な発展に伴う情報セキュリティー、中東情勢に関する討議、EXPO 2017の展望、ユーレシアでの共同経済空間の開発、その他の喫緊の最新課題などが含まれている。

卓越した公人、ジャーナリスト、政治家、ライター、科学者、世界的に知られたオピニオンリーダーが第11回ユーラシアン・メディア・フォーラムで講演する。その中には、米ピュリツァー賞受賞ジャーナリストのロイ・ガットマン氏、ベストセラー作家でニューヨーク・タイムズ紙オブザーバーのグレッグ・パラスト氏、ロシア・トゥデーのニュースキャスターのオクサナ・デレフヤンコ氏、ギリシャ副首相で全ギリシャ社会主義運動党員のテオドロス・パンガロス氏、American-Iranian Council（AIC）会長のホーシャング・アミラハマディ氏、テレビ番組「In the Context」のプレゼンターであるマクシム・シェブチェンコ氏、アルジャジーラの英語プレゼンターのスティーブン・コール氏、アルジャジーラ・テレビのプレゼンター兼プロデューサーのリズ・カーン氏らが名を連ねている。

     The 11th Eurasian Media Forum will take place in the Kazakh capital city

of Astana on April 25 and 26, 2013.

    The Eurasian Media Forum (EAMF) is a non-political organisation founded in

2002 on the initiative of Dr. Dariga Nazarbayeva to promote mutual

understanding between the East and the West via a dialogue.

    The venue for the EAMF 2013 will be the Kazakhstan Media Centre, a new

building in the left bank area that was built and equipped in line with

state-of-the-art world standards and houses all of the country's leading mass

media.

    This year the Eurasian Media Forum expects to welcome over five hundred

guests from fifty countries.

    The 2013 EAMF's agenda includes issues of regional security after the

withdrawal of coalition troops from Afghanistan, information security amid

rapid development of social mass media, discussion of the situation in the

Middle East, EXPO 2017 prospects and the development of a Common Economic Space

in Eurasia as well as a series of other pressing modern problems.

    Outstanding public figures, journalists, politicians, writers, scientists

and world-renowned public opinion leaders will be speakers at the 11th Media

Forum conference. Among them are US Pulitzer prize winning journalist Roy

Gutman, a bestseller author and the New York Times observer Greg Palast, Russia
